Its funny how some ppl are mixing in matching all the failed negotiations.

The first time around is the only time that counts. Everything was set, 50-50, gloves, ring size, even a stipulation that if Floyd came over 147 they would be a million per pound penalty.

Floyd asked for a drug test and the amount of excuses that Manny and his camp came up with was just comical.

Soon after the Clottey fight was signed.

The last negotiations Floyd was going to jail and Manny had a cut that was going to take more than 100 days to heal so there was no way that the fight could had gotten made as per Arum, and yes lets not forget the stadium that is getting built in Vegas to host such a huge event.

Pac accepted unlimited urine and 3 blood tests, which would immediately take effect after signing. Who among the current boxers do this? None. Somehow this is still not enough for chicken Floyd when he himself was the subject of an article claiming he tested positive three times. Not to mention chicken Floyd's so-called strict testing crap never went beyond 14 days cut off.

When chicken Floyd became aware that Pacman no longer have issues with his brand of testing, he came up with numerous roadblocks the latest of which is Pac has to signed up with chicken Floyd's fake promotional company.

Then when manny brought up doing a 50/50 deal Floyd turns around and says that was a year ago.

You have to realize that everything that has happened since 2009 was a mind game played by Floyd Mayweather to dodge Manny Pacquaio. He knew Pac would not agree to the drug testing. That is why he asked for it. He was trying to duck Pacquiao.

He knew that Pac would eventually relent and agree to the 14-day offer, so he took it off the table before Pac could agree to it. That was his way of ducking Pacquaio.

Floyd knew that Arum wanted to make Pacquaio/Marquez for the weekend of Cinco de Mayo in 2012. So Floyd chose to be sentenced to jail during that time and then changed the date of his jail term to June 2012 so Arum wouldn't be able to use it to stage Pacquaio/Marquez. This was just his way of ducking Pacquaio.

Floyd knew that Marquez would eventually KTFO of Pacquaio. That is why he chose to fight Marquez first -- to show that he was superior to Pac and show why he didn't need to fight Pacquaio. This was just his way of ducking Pacquaio.

Floyd knew that if he accused Pac of using drugs, Pac would sue him, making the fight almost impossible to make. This was just his way of ducking Pacquaio.

You forgot to mention that Arum said in 2012 that he did not know who to call in Mayweather's camp to negotiate a fight, even though he had already turned down Richard Schafer's request to meet and discuss a deal. Not calling Arum to tell him who to negotiate with was just another ploy by Floyd to duck Pacquaio.

And, last but not least, Mayweather knew that Pacquaio's cut would not heal in time for him to fight in May (even though it would heal in time for Pac to fight in May against Marquez) and he knew that Bob Arum needed time to build a temporary stadium and would be able to finish it until June 2012. That is why Mayweather DEMANDED that the fight take place in May. It had nothing to do with the fact that he had to report to jail on June 1. He was simply trying to duck Manny Pacquaio.

Everyone who posts on BoxingScene already knew all of this stuff. That is why they call Mayweather names like coward and ducker and try to tarnish his accomplishments on a daily basis.
