Floyd Mayweather vs Amir Khan, Las Vegas, 3rd May 2014.
WHY SLATE KHAN? Who would turn down a Mayweather fight? If you really want to blame someone than blame MAYWEATHER... He chooses who he fights... he wasn't forced.
Mayweather hasn't announced anything. This is total bullsh.t!

Bull**** even though I do think it is a strong chance that could be his next opponent Mayweather has announced his last 2 Opponents on Twitter I am sure he will announce his next opponent on Twitter as well when it is time
Announcing a damn opponent 7 months before the fight is just ***in ****** and Khan really need to take a fight at 147 first before jumping in with Mayweather

This is all just a media/fan reaction test done by Team Mayweather. There's a scheme here that seems fairly obvious to me. 1). A month or two before making an official decision, put out an opponents name in the media and make it sound like it's a done deal. 2). Team Mayweather wages in on the interest/reactions/opinions of the media/fans, focusing in on who will help make the most money. "Devon Alexander is next", anyone?? Alexander still ISN'T next, there's no money OR interest in him.
As far as announcing it so quickly, people eventually forget the things that Team Mayweather said before officially announcing who he's fighting next, probably because they're so damn glad he's NOT fighting the one they originally said he was. A "whew" moment, if you will. And if there IS an interest/upside with money, they have nothing to lose by throwing someones name out there because they end up fighting him anyway. It's a win-win situation for TM.
Common sense says - we all know that they (GBP/TM) always make an official announcement when it's a sealed deal and the papers are drawn up and signed. OR, FMJ tweets it himself on Twitter/Twatter. Right now, they're just looking to see if Mayweather/Khan is a fight people will pay PPV $$$ to see.
