Terrible for the sport and for blacks like me.
He is a great role model frankly:

Broner is consistant in his morality, succesful promoting himself and feels entitled to let bygones be bygones given his very consistant moral trespasses.

So what people who are looking should see is a claseless idiot that comes from an ignorant family, has absolutely no understanding of how to treat a women, is ****** enough to waste precious resources like money, is so desperate to be liked that no act is too de****able if it calls attention to himself....oh and does not even have the self respect to be gracious to others in the ring (the Malinogi fight comes to mind).

I would tell my kids to watch this idiot but alas they are too busy. Bronner is a perfect example of WHAT NOT TO DO if you have talent, and what a moral degenerate with sociopathology looks like on the public stage. WATCH him do the opposite and you will be aight!!!

Two things come to mind Pudge:

        a) you do not have to choose an athlete as a role model.

        b) Most athletes have some level of complexity. Tyson was always (for example) a very smart guy even though he was not well educated. So, if one were to say (for example) "Tyson had some problems but I admire and want to model my behavoir after Tyson's ability to study fights and train hard" this would be an admirable trait....and notice how this and some other good traits allowed Iron Mike to do alright these days.

But Bronner? there is nothing admirable as of yet to emulate. Floyd....who Bronner tries to emulate is in fact a loyal, smart, interesting individual. Bronner should emulate Floyd's other qualities and not his marketing hype.

Stop lying, you're not black. Stereotypes are created by bigots from inferior thinking. Eff a stereotype. Either stop following him or don't watch him. I love the kid as a man and fighter.

            What is this garbage thread?

Does Kelly Pavlik's alcohol problem make white people look bad? Are people saying "Damn Pavlik, your behavior is bringing shame on your race?"

Adrien Broner represents Adrien Broner. Not blacks, not Americans, not rappers, not twentysomethings, and not morons everywhere. I'd bet my first born OP is not black.

            GTFO with that ****.

And regarding his behavior; I watch boxing to see good fights, so thankfully I don't have to worry about stuff like that. Damn shame some of you guys have to.

Exactly. It's like trying to follow in Floyd's footsteps without the focus and intensity and dedication Floyd puts. Acting like someone doesn't mean he becomes like them. He is more of a Berto knock off than a Floyd clone, that is for sure.

boxers and celebs are not there to be role models

                  look to ur parents

if you are looking to a boxer as a role model then ur parents are failing you

Usng this logic, wouldn't President *****, who is positive, intelligent, smart, and every positive stereotype, and far more high profile than Broner, offset what Broner's behavio has done to you?

No, but taking videos of him taking a SHT and blow jobs is classless, not to mention other things. No one has to be squeaky clean to have an ounce of class, something he obviously does not have.
