Every person on this earth has had a role model. If you think "being your own person" means not having a role model, I'm inclined to think you've had bad ones.

Looking up to someone and trying to be them are two different things. If I have had bad role models I have still manage to do well for myself.

I wish more people thought like this. Nobody on this earth is sqeaky clean but expect athletes/entertainers to be they mess and have faults just like everybody else. Money doesn't make you a better person if anything it brings out your inner *******.
