Wlad used to come out aggressive and stop people early during the beginning of his pro career. But keep in mind that he's the long reigning champ by now, and Povetkin is the challenger. Today's Wlad has crafted to perfection his breaking down and methodically beating challengers. It's a work of art.

Wouldnt call it art but it certainly works for him. I dont expect him to come out guns a blazin and get reckless I just wish he was more active and let his hands go more like Steward use to yell at him.

I agree that is fishy ... it's Russia after all and the massive money put up to host the fight is strange too especially considering who was behind it. I think if the fight is anyway close then yes wlad will be robbed. BUT I don't think it will be close, also I think Wlad by late stoppage or wlad by 12 rounds of utter domination are the two most likely scenarios. I think if he completely dominates povetkin it could be hard to pull off the robbery ... even in Russia. (But then who knows) Who are the judges btw?

Chambers could have stopped Povetkin had he didn't quit fighting and I remember thinking about how su****ious that one was. Wladimir will not have problems landing right hands and I don't expect this fight to go into the later rounds anyway.

He's always in average shape and tires, has forgot how to work on the inside, his punch resistance is very questionable, his footspeed is poor....he really doesn't have anything to trouble Wlad.

I don't think Wlad will have a problem with that, and probably thinks the same.

It would be horrible if after all these years hiding from Wlad, Povetkin ended his reign by getting his ass whooped and getting a robbery.
