It's clear that Floyd is cashing out in these last few fights obviously. It's what you do when your career as at an end. So since Pacquiao is such an easy one dimensional hypejob who got laid out by a guy Floyd already beat, why not take it if it nets him the most money?
The hype for that fight is obviously not at it's peak anymore, but that doesn't mean it'll bomb. If it had happened in 09-10 it would have broken the record without a doubt. After Pac destroys Rios the casuals are drawn back in and I wouldn't doubt it if it did more buys than the Canelo fight.Last edited by thuggery; 10-01-2013, 04:25 AM.

Topic's beaten to death
Manny never agreed to testing!
Manny will never ever earn $40 mil off of one fight.
Floyd wanted testing because a former member of mannys camp told him he was a cheat.
He might've been crude the way he went about demanding tests but he obviously wasn't wrong if the same guy that refused them now wants the same.
Forget about this fight ever happening.

Also please provide a source saying he took home "close to 100 mil" against Canelo.

The result was the same its just Mayweather's style doesn't appeal you.
Aw shucks I guess Manny going into politics and screwing over his own countrymen works for you?
I'll simplify: Did Floyd state testing should be mandatory for the good of the sport?
Or did he single out Pac and insinuate he was a cheat by demanding he take blood tests?
From what i recall, it was Floyd snr who said in a video straight after the Pac-Cotto fight, he didnt want Floyd fighting Pac because he felt Pac was on something.
Then Floyd made it a big issue.
The fact the issue went to court and became a legal matter strongly suggests Floyd made unproven allegations against Pac.

Where was his crusade for testing throughout the sport?Last edited by The Noose; 10-01-2013, 04:46 AM.

It's just ridiculous how this fight was never made
Yep there ego's killed it they seemed to me they rather win at the neg table than in the ring cause neither is scared of the other both have ego's the size of Jupiter. Now its just a pissing contest and personally if it doesn't get made it won't bother me it just doesn't mean as much it would have in Mar 10 when it was supposed to happen.

The only way this fight happens is if it is their final fight and Manny realizes that he is not worth close to what he thinks he is.
