and Floyd still blew his only chance to beat a prime ATG, something which will never change.

Floyd always found a roadblock..... he used the testing to duck Pacquiao. Just like he used his shitty $40Million offer to duck Pacquiao when testing wasn't relevant anymore. There was always something.

I'll admit that I defended Manny back then for two reasons. First is that I was a much worse P@ctard, and two that I was dead certain they'd figure it out that year and get the fight done.

Needless to say, I'm horribly disappointed, even now.

It was a tactical move by Floyd to score the first blow. To show who was the top dog, and make Manny jump through hoops.

If Floyd had gone about it in a more professional way, stating that testing needs to be done for the sport, then he gets full credit. But todays drug testing requirements are a positive accidental by-product of Floyds negative moronic attitude.

Its a case of something good coming out of something bad.
I completely agree with this. I don't believe for one minute Mayweather wanted testing for the good of the sport. He and his family were saying Pac was on PEDs for months before negotiations. Pac should have called his bluff, but don't confuse Mayweather's intentions.

Any other fighter would be considered a duck if they refused those things...yet somehow, it makes sense that a fighter turned down 40 million because needles hurt. And now, that same fighter is demanding testing because...? Maybe he's a masochist and enjoys the pain. Maybe I'm missing something. Everyone's counter argument just seems to be "It would've always been something else." As if Floyd would've demanded that the loser had to do the chicken dance after the fight. These "slippery slope" arguments are pointless.

2013-Even Manny is demanding random drug testing as are most top boxers and if you reject it now you will be slammed by the media and labeled a cheater.Hell the commission might even choose to randomly test you if you reject now

So why now is random testing viewed differently? why now do you have to accept it or be labeled a cheater? when before if you asked for it you were a coward?
Cause Marquez ko'd Pacman. And now Pacman, his fans and the media decided to change up, the irony.

How did Floyd knew Pac was going to develop a needle phobia at the last minute when it was finally time to sign especially when team Pac had said "anytime, anywhere" about testing when they first heard about. It's conform that OST was the very first thing on the contract yet only till the very end when everything else was agree upon, Manny then develops a fear of needles at the last minute

Lol at maniacs dumb ass troll posts. Someone ban that racist idiot. When exactly did manny agree to test with no cutoff? And the money and ppv will still have to be negotiated. It's not like 4 years later they will still get the same amount
