Amazing when Floyd is the only one of the two to have signed the contract for the fight.

LMAO @ Fantasy world. I'd like to hear exactly what was this sh:t he threw against the wall in 2010 before the random drug testing was even mentioned. All the other stuff Floyd demanded that had to do with money, came much later.

I expected a different response from you, considering your sn lol.

All that happened was a bunch of Al Haymon fighter's getting caught being involved with or using PED's.

Floyd didnt demand testing for the good of the sport. He used it to insinuate Pac was a cheat just to slander Pac's name as a ploy. And IMO out of jealousy for Pac's popularity.

It was a tactical move by Floyd to score the first blow. To show who was the top dog, and make Manny jump through hoops.

If Floyd had gone about it in a more professional way, stating that testing needs to be done for the sport, then he gets full credit. But todays drug testing requirements are a positive accidental by-product of Floyds negative moronic attitude.

Its a case of something good coming out of something bad.

Especially when team Pac said Anytime, any where about testing only to then want cut offs at the last minute when everything was agreed upon. Why did Pac wait til the last minute to develop a needle phobia. Funny how the Paccturds claim Floyd was setting up road when in Fact it was Manny who was bringing up last minute demands like all if a sudden cut offs and 10 mill penalty. Why did Manny being this up at the last minute when everything else was agreed upon? Perhaps Manny was trying to bluff Floyd out of the fight but Floyd called on Manny's BS so Manny ended up Folding. Til this day Manny has never given an answer as to why 2 weeks wasn't enough since Manny's excuse for ducking testing was that he didn't want to be tested on the day of the fight.

Perhaps he should have made his statement dressed in Top-Hat and tails at a luncheon hall on Wall Street???

The result was the same its just Mayweather's style doesn't appeal you.

Aw shucks I guess Manny going into politics and screwing over his own countrymen works for you?

                    1) How would Floyd know Manny would refuse to take a drug test? Is Floyd an ATG telepath?

                    2) Floyd called Manny to fight him May 2012, MGM grand. Bob Arum said no because Pacquiaos cuts take six months to heal, and then that they couldn't fight because they had to build a stadium on the Las Vegas strip first.

I'll be in Vegas in a few weeks and ill report back on how Bob Arum's stadium is coming along.

And there was me thinking it was gonna be an interesting thread when I read the title.

There's been massive, massive changes in the names and dynamics in most of the divisions, you coulda talked about the big prospects of 2010 who have disappeared, the new guys who have shot up the ranks and burst onto the boxing world. You coulda even talked about the HBO/TR vs SHO/GBP cold war - possibly the biggest change of all....

But what do we get....the one topic where things have hardly changed at all... the bitter rivalry between fans of Manny Pacquiao and fans of Floyd Mayweather Jr -still sniping at each other just as they were 3 years ago, and still acting as if these 2 fighters are the only thing that matters in the sport.
