Gennady Golovkin vs. Curtis Stevens Predictions & Info

Stevens has been talking a lot about coming at GGG so usually when a guy says that he tends to do the opposite but in this case Stevens isn't really a good enough boxer to win like that unless his aim is to set a trap, look to land a Ko shot and he has a very good counter LH that if lands could end the fight , maybe he does try to push Golovkin backwards and go that route either way I give him a chance bcse he's somewhat of a specialist a really good lefthooker with power Noelse at the weight is going to outbox GGG(except maybe Martinez) so if he does get beat it'll prob be by fighting fire with fire

I think he'll definitely step back, wait for the right hand and try to counter with his left hook.

I think Pirog has a shot at outboxing GGG but this dude fights once every blue moon.

Golovkin within 8...

I expect Curtis to come out and box and I think Golovkin may take him somewhat into deep waters and then hurt him down the stretch and put him away...can't see the shorter Curtis outboxing GGG, GGG does just about everything better...

I think GGG will be patient knowing Curtis' only chance is to hit him with a sneaky hook or something from left field in an exchange...and even if Curtis catches GGG I doubt he can put him down with ONE shot...this isn't some scrub, he aint putting Golovkin down or out with ONE shot in my opinion...

But like I said Golovkin within 8 only because I feel Golovkin will be patient early and feel Curtis out before bringing it to him...I expect Curtis to tire and eventually fold under the pressure...

Wouldn't mind seeing an upset but wouldn't bet a cent on it...

I got Golovkin by late stoppage.

At my time of voting I'm the 70th person to pick Golovkin by stoppage. Only 8 people picked another option: 3 picked a Golovkin decision, 3 picked Stevens KO and 2 picked undecided.

So out of 78 votes only 3 are picking Stevens to win.

I'm terrified that Stevens is going to land something big and stop Golovkin. I would love to see Golovkin blast the guy in a couple rounds, and he probably will, but I would be so happy if Stevens does land something big and GGG just smiles, completely unfazed.

I would be gutted if Golovkin lost now.
