The best line from Floyd, is when Marg confronted him and ask him for a fight.

In the interview after, Floyd said, it not about fighting the best, it about making smart decisions to move us up a level.

Floyd ain't going to take any risky fight an risk losing 10 of millions.

If he fought Pacquiao back in 2010 and lost, you think he would have gotten this Showtime gig?

He may have beaten Pacquiao, but Floyd ain't ******, he knew the risk and knew he could lose that fight.

So why take it, when he can make smart decision, take easier, guaranteed win fights and make a lot more money in the long run.

The Pacquiao fight could have netted Floyd $80 million plus, but that is only one fight, and a lost would mean an end to the gravy train of easy money fights as well significantly reducing his revenue when he does retire.

Oh look, if Floyd fight Khan then we will really know he's ducking PAC .

Floyd to Khan: You're in trouble because my health doesn't come first. I'm fighting you and yes I said that so you can put those words in my mouth.

Hopefully Khan faces Alexander and Devon makes him twerk so bad you never hear Amir Khan mentioned in the same sentence as Mayweather again.

Nobody has any right to say Floyd is ducking anyone at this point and time.

Thanks for the insight homie, I really gained perspective from that statement towards Margarito. You know the thing that bothers me is, Floyd is at a stage in his career where he doesn't have to pity pat or flim flam people like he does. If I'm Floyd, I would be real about it and say the risk/reward ratio of a Pacquaio fight doesn't interest me. I'm the type of guy that likes a straight shooter no bs. Floyd is at a point in his career where he doesn't need to BS anybody, jus tell us that fight will never be made because it doesn't make sense for his business plan. Don't say Pac has to beat XYZ guy, then fight under TMT Promotions for 3 fights. That's just being ridiculous, and insults people's intelligence. He's worth over a Quarter billion dollars, he can literally afford to keep it real.

But I have to remain objective and ask an honest question. When asked about the Pacman fight, Floyd says Pacman needs to avenge his losses to Bradley and Marquez before they can discuss fighting eachother. As if to say, Pacman needs to "earn" the "opportunity to fight him". But if Floyd fights Khan, he contradicts that statement because Khan lost two fights back to back, fought a career lightweight (Molina), then narrowly escaped with a victory over a journeyman who dropped him (Diaz). He definitely hasn't earned the fight. So you may say "Money is the motivator"? My question to you all and TMT would be; Do you think Floyd would take home more money fighting Khan and giving him his small cut vs. Fighting Manny Pacman, paying him a flat 20-30 million (being that Pac has little room for negotiation after the marquez KO) and taking the rest? Anyone who says that fight isn't the biggest fight to be made still in boxing is kidding themselves. If Floyd is about MONEY why isn't a fight with PACMAN the next logical step? Your thoughts
Why the *** waste time writing a thread on this topic when it's been discussed 1000's of times , it ain't happen!!!!!!!!

Writing is pleasurable to me so it doesn't feel like a waste of time, A better question would be Why would you waste your time writing something that adds nothing to this thread?

Not at all, that would be a Manny F'up, but if Floyd offers Manny 3 million dollars for the fight and none of the pay per view I think you're smart enough to know what "Self Sabotage" is.

And for the record 40 million dollars flat, and none of the Pay Per View money was never an acceptable offer for someone who would be responsible for about 40-50 percent of the pay per view buys. Personally I would have taken it, because if I were to win, I would hold all the cards in the Rematch, but I can't Blame Manny for passing on that.
