chavez showed that he is a fighter that im not going to give a **** about. He has disrespected the sport by not taking it seriously and he still got out pointed. Now he doesnt want to give the man a rematch.

I dont care about who he fights unless its someone like froch thats gonna whoop his ass.

Really he doesnt deserve a shot against the best in the div. he talked his way into fighting serg and looked like **** in that one so I wish he would just retire already

Watching the fight for the first time right now and in round 5 at about 1:05 Lou(the ref) goes to Chavez "Stop crying"

I'm watching it now to see if y'all are right about the robbery

rn 1- Chavez (more effective sharper heavier punches)
rnd2- close but I give the edge to Vera due to activity
Rnd3- even (outworked him but Chavez landed some heavy shots)
Rnd4 - Vera (was a very clear round for Vera until Chavez landed some huge blows)
Rnd5 - Chavez Jr - Extremely accurate with his power punches and Vera missed most of his
Rnd 6 - Chavez Jr - Cleaner crisper punches from Chavez, Vera struggled to cut him off
Rnd 7 - Chavez Jr (VERY close round...Chavez clearly had the first half...then Vera came back and in the last 20 seconds was winning it until Chavez Jr made him do the Harlem shake in the last ten seconds)
Rnd 8 - Vera (Vera's best round, landed clean power combos and controlled the pace, Chavez Jr landed a few good shots but Vera dominated
Rnd 9 - Vera (2clean low blows and the ref didn't do ****, but Vera dominated and outworked him
Rnd 10 - Vera (Clear as day Vera round...hilarious seeing Chavez cry to the ref)

Vera edged it but I wouldn't have been disappointed with a draw..I can see how the judges could have favoured Chavez Jr's cleaner more accurate power punches..Chavez has potential if he stays dedicated...very intelligent, accurate boxer with a steel chin.

Why do I feel like Chavez Sr. just isn't strict enough on his son?
