How close was Bradley v Pacquiao?

the overwhelming feeling i had at the end of the fight was.... bradley seemed out of his depth and the ankle injury compounded that....
i was disappointed, because i though tim would have made it a rough night....
i thought he moved well.... but the ankle injury limited his movement, and pacquiao seemed the only aggressor up until the final rounds....
i might look back at it.... and score it.... but.... i was so convinced at the time, i just turned it off..... the next morning i was beyond shocked at the decision....
hbo's commentary may have influenced me, but usually it doesn't.....
in saying that.... i think bradley would fair better in a rematch.... i just think having had the experience..... and now having been in such deep waters vs. provodnikov....
bradley will be more mature and seasoned.... as long as the prov fight didn't do any long term damage.... i think the experience gained will show against marquez.... and the rematch vs. pacquiao will be inevitable.Comment

Closer than people thought. I had it 8-4 or 9-3 Pacquaio, but could see how there were couple of other close rounds. I watched the fight again and 7-5 Paquaio was totally fine, 6-6 was also believable and not a robbery, I just cannot under any viewing see a 7-5 fight for Bradley, I just can't find that 7t round to give him no matter what I look for.
The announcers did not help at all, it seems theycomletely ignored all ofthe shots Bradley was landing and then acted like every punch Pacquaio landed was a huge one. This was a fairl close fight that I felt Pacquaio won.
A draw wouldhave been a decision I disagreed with, but it would have been somewhat sane. A Bradley win was prety ourageous.
The draw card n the Canelo-Mayweter fight was way way worse than an of the cards in the Pacquaio-Bradley fight.Comment

Pacquaio didn't look great at all. He only fought the last minute or 45 seconds of a lot of rounds. Some of the rounds, he just didn't do enough to steal the rounds in the judges eyes. Last time I scored it, it was 8-4 Pac.Comment

I had it a draw, so I'm perfectly fine with the decision. Don't know what Pacquiao was thinking but going into the championship rounds, the way he took his foot off the gas, he might have thought he was way ahead which he wasn't. He clearly lost the last 3 rounds, I also gave Bradley rounds 1,2 and 7.Comment

Rewatched this fight with conflicting memories. One was that Pacquaio had dominated, the other was that it was a tedious fight I didn't want to watch again.
HUH? Those two don't add up.
Seeing it again, Ping Ping's work rate was exceptionally low for him. Even though he was generally able to do what he wanted with Bradley, he was only working for around a minute a round, sometimes less. Bradley landing six jabs isn't amazing, but if that's all that's happening, he's winning the round by default.
It didn't help the outrageous HBO commentary, which talked about everything Pac did and nothing in reverse, especially the virtual fellating of Max Keller****.
"And Manny PACQUIAO just WINKED at ME, JIM!!"
Yeah, Max... because the judges scoring the fight score it on winks.
Even when the guy missed, they cheered it. And I was under the impression that Bradley was rocked more than he was.... in retrospect, we now know he'll carry on firing back, even when totally KTFO.
Take a look, for example, at the first round... **** all happens, and Ping Ping is frequently off-balance and misses... he lands three decent shots in the last fifteen seconds, but that's all, and Jim calls them "booms", as if the fight is being commented on by a six-year-old.
It's by no means a performance where Bradley wins seven rounds by domination. But it's certainly a performance where you could argue he nicks seven rounds by workrate alone.Comment

yeah these judges were ****ed 5-7-8 were pac rounds
I agree with this with the exception of round 3 I gave pac but it was close as were several of the rounds Pacquiao had some much bigger rounds but still 10-9 is only 10-9 and I had a draw 1,2,9,10,11,12 for BradleyComment

Ok ... Ill try to explain to you. Ready ? Ok here we go. You said "there's nothing wrong with being in the minority but if your only like 1-2 out of 100 that believes something then something is wrong with you"
To which I responded. "For every 100 people who picked Mathysse to destroy Garcia 1or 2 picked Danny to outbox Lucas ... Nothing was wrong with them."
The people who believe Bradley won are in the extreme minority.
The people who believed Danny would win were also in the same group.
Which group of people turned out to be right ?
Hope you're still with me....
Which brings me to my point. Sometimes people who don't know **** about boxing listen to other people's opinion who also don't know **** and use that flawed logic to form their own opinion. Before you know it, it trickles down and what you get is a mob mentality . Whenever someone comes up with a different way of seeing things or a different idea the "mob" will brush it to the side. They are comfortable with their own ignorance.Comment
I can't give enough praise for Garcia, but that's another topic
