The ridiculous, unearned paydays he secures for his fighters.

Whatever, it's his job and no one should blame him for it but it makes me wonder.

Politics is a dirty business, is every politician dirty?

Al Haymon does nothing but get fighters higher paydays and good TV spots. Thats what a manager is supposed to do. He's never, to my knowledge, been involved in anything criminal, hasn't been accussed of lying or stealing by former employees.

Basically, the 2 people who have a problem with him are Herschman and Arum, who are working together and are linked in other ways as well.

What's shady is, how is he able to get his clients such outsized purses, what's his leverage. At HBO it was supposedly that concert promotion. But now he can't even threaten he'll go to another network, yet he's still exerting leverage n SHO. How? What was his leverage on SHO to get them to fork over 2.75m for Broner Paulie and ruin their budget for the fall?

So using your leverage to get maximum dollars for your clients is shady just on the face of it? ok, is Kathy DUva shady?

I don't know what the leverage is, but why do you assume it to be shady?

Paulie and Broner have the highest rated fight of the year. It smoked Canelo vs Trout and it's going to smoke Devon and Khans fight too. Who else can Showtime book that's going to drop 1.4 mil views? Thats his leverage.

Well nobody likes grossly overpaying for anything, and he gets them to do it consistently. Even now that the network is strictly bidding against itself. I haven't even speculated how, would really like to know.
