Is this Al Haymon? (at #TheOne)

I hope you're really the idiot who interview people for boxing websites/online channels and not just someone who took the screen name.Ignorance yet again.
It is ignorant to assume that every manager in boxing is shady. Some are not! Anyway, Haymon is just easily the smartest, most educated, and most experienced manager. None of the managers have even half his credentials. Tell me who else graduated from Harvard? I'm not even sure if half the managers and/or promoters in boxing even have a college degree.
You never thought about that did you? One of the reasons boxing is corrupt and not so professional is because of the lack of education. Anyone off the street can get into it. Anyone can become a manager, just like in music. And you can do so with no prior experience, no credentials, no education. You just have to find a fighter.
You make all sorts of assumptions but can't say what exactly Haymon could be doing that's shady. The best I've heard here is rigging scorecards.
Here's a list of educated businessmen in boxing:
Bob Arum: Undergrad: NYU, Law School: Harvard;
Lou DiBella: Undergrad: Tufts, Law School: Harvard; and
Stephen Espinoza: Undergrad: Stanford, Law School: UCLA
Their credentials match that of Haymon, and Arum's resume and experience exceed that of Haymon. Furthermore, they are at the pinnacle of the boxing world. Your theory, just like you, is ignorant.Comment

I said one of the reasons.
An uneducated Bob Arum and Richard Schaefer is potentially more dangerous and shady than the educated versions. The point is that Haymon runs circles around his competitors because he's far more knowledgeable. And in business and life in general, those with the knowledge run circles around those lacking the knowledge.
So yes, part of the reason why boxing is so corrupt is due to a lack of education. Part of the reasons guys like Arum can do shady things and get away with it, is also partly because he's just much more educated. Look at Tim Bradley's case. Arum put minor terminology in his contract regarding testing, knowing Bradley and his team would assume it means VADA. If Bradleys team was more knowledgeable, they would have caught that loophole.
When everyone is educated, aka knowledgeable, there is little room for shadiness. It can still go down, but would happen much less.Comment

Did you really read what I said? I said half of them. Not all, and I was speaking moreso about managers. Not promoters, although there have been bunches of promoters who also don't have a degree. Try again.I hope you're really the idiot who interview people for boxing websites/online channels and not just someone who took the screen name.

Haymon is not the smartest, most educated nor the most experienced.

Ain't dat da truf doe
I read what you said. I wasn't addressing your entire post (hence only the listing of others that are educated), merely your ****** theory. Why? Because even in the idiocy that is your post there is some correctness. Similar to how a broken clock is still correct twice a day.
I have read your subsequent posts, and they only bolster my opinion of you. How do you, radioraheem, know that there were terms in Bradley's contract that he did not understand? Were you present during the drafting, negotiating or executing on the contract? I HIGHLY doubt Arum even drafts any contract for his fighters. Both parties have access to attorneys that can interpret and amend the contract language. They are dealing with hefty amounts of money, and are generally dealing at arms length. Ignorance of contract language is self-imposed if anything. Nothing is secret. It's literally, all on the paper.
YOU try again.Comment
