It's funny how much people dislike Bob Arum they are making willing to shoot the man in the middle instead of the actual guilty party here. Get your facts straight Arum is a promoter who is already heavily invested money in this fight, he's trying to save the event and trying to prevent ticket buyers from being thrown for a curve by JR's antics. In case you guys haven't realized it, Arum has pretty much all but said he hasn't been pleased with Chavez Jr. I'm not defending Arum i'm pointing out the facts here. Vera is going to be taken care off and guess who has to come out of pocket on that end? Arum. Arum could've cancelled the fight and Vera get's jack shyt. I'm all for slinging mud and throwing people under the bus when they actually deserve it and I can thin of 50 situations where Arum should and has been thrown under the bus because he deserved it..this isn't one of those situations. If you had tickets to this fight you wouldn't give a damn how the fight gets made as long as it happens. Say what you want about Arum the motherfker finds a way of making things happen if not he wouldn't still be in business. Vera will likely get his purse doubled, i'm pretty sure Vera won't be crying while cashing those checks.

Who was it that clearly can't make weight? Who is it that is creating this situation? It should come out of his purse, rightfully so. Everyone else did their job, if JR is too lazy to take his profession seriously then maybe if it starts affecting his pockets he might give a *** next time.
