I've just made a speculation. His cut doesnt seem to be that deep. I can be wrong . I am more than sure that the fight can take place at least in December.

If its stipulated in the contract of course they'd have that right! And why would fury risk the payday?

He takes a greater risk at not taking a fight at all till february.

Really, how is that? Is Haye going to have some imaginary advantage come February?

"News of the date in February is music to my ears," said Hayein his official announcement. "I was absolutely devastated this weekend, and felt as though I'd let a lot of people down. But now, with this new date, I couldn't be happier. My fans will still get the chance to see what they all wanted to see this weekend - they'll get to see Tyson Fury sparked out in a spectacular fashion.

Other than a mild interest, I don't give a tinker's curse about Haye, Fury or their fight. I am more intrigued by the attitude of the Haye supporters towards this 5 month delay, particularly those who constantly jeered at Manny Pacquiao and Arum when they had to postpone his next ring appearance (didn't even have a fight arranged) by doctor's orders for 6 months because of a serious cut.

Haye's surface cut received a mere 6 stitches (which showed it wasn't a minor cut) whilst Pacquiao's bone-deep cut required 28...... An open show of prejudice against Pacquiao.

You'd think there would be some clause in the contract, because if Fury took a stay busy fight between and theoretically got destroyed in 1 round, his fight with Haye would no longer be considered box office quality.

This should be common sense. Promoters are going to chance their money on small peanuts when the bank is getting ready to be broke!

Still not heard anything from team Fury. I hope this is not a one way thing with Haye making a premature announcement when a new date hasn't been accepted by both sides.

Tryin to take this thread to Pacland? Cmon.

You are implying that the Feb date is because Haye wants/needs six months to heal. That is nowhere in the article.
