He was fighting at that weight for a YEAR! How was he still green? Berto and Aydin were top ten welterweights and Guerrero beat them. And remember he was Floyd's MANDATORY challenger. Meaning he was ordered by the WBC to fight Guerrero or drop his title. That is not a cherrypick if the commission orders you to fight a guy or risk losing your title.

if floyd fights danny with no fights at 47 you'd be fine with that then right?since danny has wins over lucas ,holt, morales 2x and nate campbell

Man if you're so big on fighting ranked stars then why don't you want him to face Pacquiao who is ranked p4p in the top ten and is in his weight class? He's the highest ranked p4p welterweight that he hasn't faced

That's a good fight, and a good win for Floyd should it happen. But Pacquiao is still a tougher and more legit test.

We'll try this one more time. From the beginning, Floyd told Pac/Arum, take the test Pac/Arum get 40 million and Floyd gets the rest. Floyd never waivered from this offer and Pac/Arum never accepted these terms. Instead Pac got KTFO by JMM for less than 1/4 of that, seriously diminishing the value of a Floyd/Pac match.

You can blame Floyd for not budging if you want, I blame Pac/Arum for not accepting. Bet Manny wishes they hadn't passed on the offer

You're still ducking the question. How was Guerrero a cherry picked "old" fighter if he's 29 and Floyd's mandatory challenger?

Mandatory challenger don't mean a damn thing it's just some **** that the commission declares. The fans make the sport and the fans wanted, and still want the Floyd Pac fight. I never specifically referred to Guerrero as old, but he was never a legit contender for Floyd, he has no names on his resume apart from that over hyped idiot Berto.

That's what I'm saying, that's all he's been fighting legit opponents. Only opponent most had a problem with was Marquez.
