That was crazy n 50's part. I remember thinking there is no way floyd is leaving haymon. 50 got ahead of himself, beefing with oscar and then floyd. He had no one from boxing to help him out. He aligned himself with pac but pac has his own problem's to deal with. Those boxers thought they were signing with floyd but 50 pulled the wool over their eyes. Imo top rank blew the fight between gamboa and juanma. Greedy bob wanted to make more dough off the two before they met each other. Slob bob only cares for himself. Cotto made his biggest payday when he fought floyd. After all that time with top rank they left him concerned about his financial future. I hoped cotto would have signed with gbp schaffer would have taken care of such a great fighter like cotto.

Gamboa just got tricked. And that's too bad. He went from one devil he knew, to a devil he didn't know.
First of all, Gamboa started hanging out with Floyd because he's his idol. He obviously wanted to join his idol's fake promotional company. He ducked the Rios fight because that's what Floyd whispered in his ear. 50 cent was just a bystander and was just another victim of Floyd's deceptive, manipulative, empty promises. Not to mention it's also Floyd's idea to leave Haymon and GBP. And when 50 cent started to execute the plan, Floyd chickened out.

You clowns need to stop this ass kissing. Floyd is no saint.

Maybe he's taking shots at Gamboa but I had the same feeling. Rios would have had em IMO. Gamboa is too leaky and too soft in the chin to have contested with Brandon. He was going bust somehow regardless.

            Lol?

Cotto made over 10m vs Pac after ppv bonus and over 10m in the two margarito fights with top ran
You need to stop chatting out if your ass

Gamboa turned down 1m plus to fight rios, you ****** bro?

Gb make all if their money from the non ppv fights, same as top rank, except, they hide drug cheats by controlling usada within a contract

Cotto is smart, he went back to top rank because he feels they are better than gb, who are we yo argue? Cotto says top rank is better

Look at hw many Ppv stars top rank have made

Oscar, Floyd, and pac, the three biggest in the last 10 years outside of heavyweights, all top rank

Gb have nobody, all they have done is feed people to Floyd while they make no money out of his ppvs and kill their guys star power

It's been a long string of bad decisions.

He was and still should be the man at 126, instead he's now just another guy bouncing around divisions too big for him. He's not active, in the wrong division, has a terrible promotional situation and is being forgotten for the most part.

I understand why he wanted out of the Top Rank and Oner situation and supported the decision, but he took the risk and it didn't work out.

I cant pinpoint his downfall whether it was bob never making gamboa vs juanma or gamboa backing out of the rios fight but both of those fights would have catapulted his career had he won. But im sure there is a bunch of other shady **** that went on behind the scenes that none of us know about.

I think you're forgetting about how the Rios fight was also one of the most rigged fights in recent memory. It was so rigged that the loser still kept the belt because of how bull**** the scoring was. Gamboa pulling out of that fight was a bad idea and from a monetary standpoint was dumb, but it was a good idea from a career standpoint. Now of course his career is in shambles right now but that's due to other things he did.he still had a lot of buzz even after pulling out of that fight.

He was basically paid a much higher purse than he normally makes to take a loss and get jobbed in that Rios fight.

                      $ 1 million in Top Rank dollars = $ 43 bucks.
