Its not that Floyd didn`t give a f about him,its that Gamboa signed to 50 cents promotional company.Had he signed to Floyd`s promotional company he would have been straight.

The sequence of events re Gamboa's leaving Top Rank were that Top Rank sued him stating that so far he had cost them over a million dollars in promotion for this fight. Gamboa had gone to the Curtis Jackson-Mayweather new promotional company and it was arranged that they paid Top Rank $1.25 mill for his contract. Then there was a split-up between Jackson and Mayweather, with Jackson saying that Mayweather never paid in any of his share of the money to start the company. All the money spent was from Jackson's pocket. So he had a small group of boxers signed with whom he continued, renaming his company to exclude Mayweather.

I got all this information from BoxingScene reports so you must have read it too. So why do you spread such dung on here. You should keep that for your ancestral acres....

Theirs 2 sides to every story, according to Floyd,he never agreed to start a promotional company with 50.Considering the fact that 50 started a promotional company while Floyd was in prison, and considering the fact that 50 through his associate, wrote a letter to Floyd while he was in prison to try to get him to leave Al Haymon, and start a promotional company with him and 50,Floyd`s side of the story sound`s more believable.

Gamboa would have starved to death without 50 cent around.

Your hero Brandon Rios sucks! Funny that when he did that Freddie Roach imitation little did he know that's how he will be by the age of 30 with that awful defense he has. Abril schooled Rios and got should be embarrass that a yuca farmer called him out and beat him easily

His biggest mistake was signing with 50 cent. He would have been far better off using his head and going with the guy that has actual boxing connections. Either GB or TMT.

I agree. But Gamboa was tricked by 50 Cent. Gamboa was led to believe that Mayweather would be promoting him too. Not realizing that Mayweather was not involved. 50 signed others like Dibbs amd Dirrell because they too assumed Mayweather would be promoting them side by side with 50.

Gamboa just got tricked. And that's too bad. He went from one devil he knew, to a devil he didn't know.

Everyone knows your knowledge is severely limited. I bet your boy pac wish that 40 million was still on the table. If gamboa was promoted by floyd he would have been on several under cards and would have made good money. Insted he is promoted by a company led by curtis jackson in association with pac. Bad move.
