I would take the higher fight but yes that's a duck. The thing about you guys is you hate Floyd for ducking but than you are okay with Manny doing it. So either they both ducked or neither you can have it both ways.

my guess would be loyalty. Pac probably didn't start making any real cash until he became associated with Arum. He will probably never get a Floyd match or the money that would come with it, but he probably is richer that he ever believed he could become

I recall that his new contract was until the end of 2014 (and I suppose that Arum has his usual 1year option to extend in it-although with mannyP he probably wouldn't use it) and his career was presumably to have ended there. But who knows? if he continues it ill most likely be also with top rank because everything you've posted is true.

But he is fairly exacting as regards contracts himself. I recall a few years ago when MannyP held up a contract agreement for a little while because he wanted an extra 1.5%. Can't remember which fight, but it was reported.

Manny just hiding behind Arum. The last time he resigned Manny said he did it with Arum's promise to get him Floyd. Well a week later Arum began talking about Rios Rios was already lined up like Margarito and Clottey were. Manny knows he can continue being protected and promoted(hyped) with Arum. If Arum believe Pac could beat Floyd the fight would had happened long ago.
