Floyd is beat with pressure, there's nobody in boxing today that can execute those things against Mayweather.
I don't know about that....seeing as he's never been beat by pressure.

        A pair of near impossible tasks;

Find a fighter who can actually beat him. Hardest of the two.

Build his marketability to a Money Mayweather acceptable level while having him consistently sandbag to a degree that Team Floyd is convinced he's "easy work".

Floyd is just as good at knowing these tricks + he is very athletic, so it would be difficult to employ.

I really think Hopkins is clever enough to give him a good chessmatch type fight.
As much as I love the sport and appreciate the IQ shown in the ring by Mayweather and Hopkins this could possibly be one of the worst fights to watch from the crowd. This is hypothetically if they were at the same weight class. It would probably be an amazing study of boxing technique and smarts but damn that would not be a barnburner for the crowd.

            What you shouldn't have:

            -red hair
            -extremely good looks
            -ATG Snake.

            That's a recipe for defeat.

lol hopkins lost two dawson 2x and jermain taylor 2x

hopkisn has trouble with fast fighters who are athletic

you saw how spinks outboxed jermain taylor, right?

hopkins is nothing but a con man. hopkins can't hold mayweather jockstrap when it comes to boxing skill.

[QUOTE=Sandor Clegane;13774326] Floyd doesn't want to be the agressor - he doesn't want to be the one to have to make the first move.

***This is another mistake that people make in regards to Floyd's game. If I'm not mistaken, HE WAS THE ONE WALKING CANELO DOWN in their fight. After being dazed by Mosley, he went forward and applied pressure as well...

Floyd can fight on the front foot very well contrary to how people label his style as being PURELY DEFENSIVE...

Hilarious. The OP is describing Canelo's gameplan.

I still say out of all the current fighters right now Pacquiao has the best style to beat mayweather. Southpaw, speed that would match mayweathers, power, and relentless pressure.
