Only fighters I would currently give a chance a possibly beating Mayweather would have been Rigondeaux and Ward and neither is anywhere close to his Division so those fights will never happen

You have to be a great skilled pressure fighter like an Aaron Pryor. But Aaron Pryor could also box when he needed to. Or a fighter with long reach, a great jab, and the powerful right hand behind it. Like a Tommy Hearns.

What never gets mentioned is how Castillo would move forward while attacking, that's one thing that threw Mayweather off. It wasn't the usual get in position and then throw. Also, Castillo would stick his left arm out to stop Mayweather from moving to his left, Golovkin is the only other fighter who does that right now at least from what I've seen. It's not irrelevant, I agree with you but Floyd has improved since then as Malignaggi put it. Malignaggi didn't really get into specifics but Mayweather is better at smothering you, putting his weight on top of you, using his elbows to intimidate, pushing off with his forearm, and then sticking his left shoulder into his opponents chest. I don't see him getting pushed around like that anymore.

Hahaha, too bad boxing isn't fought on paper.

Floyd is beat with pressure, there's nobody in boxing today that can execute those things against Mayweather.

What most of those fighters had in common was that they had a good effective strong left hand. Even one of Mosley's shots was with a left hand. Even Castillo came with an effective left hand.

What Castillo did well was feint when he came in and stopped Floyd in his tracks then hit with his left hand and right. Now if Castillo did it then others could have too but they need to have a good game plan and have the necessary skills and abilities to do it.

There are several ways that you can beat Floyd. You saw it with some of his fights but the fighter couldn't implement it fully or for 12 full rounds.

Some had good game plans but they didn't have what it takes skill wise or head wise. Some had skills but lacked a good game plan or a good head and some had little chance and/or little talent for various reasons (eg Baldomir)

If there was several ways to beat Floyd somebody would have done it. Oscar laid the blueprint to beat Tito and B-Hop,Winky beat him the exact same way. Everybody who has used the Castillo blueprint left with a loss.

Castillo had 2 CHANCES to beat Floyd and lost both times

                Some blueprint lol

+ Floyd had a torn rotator cuff the 1st fight

Hearns is the only fighter in history I'd pick to beat Mayweather.

                    That's your strategy? Out-think Floyd?

Floyd would never be suckered into fighting someone else's fight
