Floyd pressed the attack from the opening round! He even got hit cleanly by Canelo and walked right through the shots. He walked through the body shots, and when he got hit on the chin, he got mad and let his hands go to steal the play away. Floyd fought Canelo as if he were the bigger man the ENTIRE fight. The last 30 seconds of the 12th round he started bouncing on his toes, and that blinded you from the way he pummled Canelo? Sure Floyd didnt make him bleed, but look at the size disadvantage. He forced him around the ring and really beat his azz up the whole fight. Lara is not half as big and strong as Canelo. Floyd will bust that dudes azz since he cant handle pressure from Perro who is a bum, Floyd's pressure will be on a whole new level!

I agree with some of ur assesments in the previous posts...i just cant understand how floyd fights the same way in every fight and no one could figure him out...it just baffles me..but back on subject of this post here floyd does have descent power above 135 but the difference is he has no ko power, alot of his ko's were referee stoppages aka tko's,floyd hasnt reistered a ko since ortiz....but hes got enough pop to keep u guessing ill agree wit that...but hes a tko fighter..Comment

Some ppl here are blind, agreed that Fraud is the best boxer today, but just because he beat up poor ginger, the ghost, mosley 5 years too late, an overweight marquez, mental midget judah, loss his first fight against castillo, got a ko against AA hatton and barely won his fight against crack head de la hoya doesnt make him invincible, he hasn't face a boxer like duran, leonard, hearns, benitez or pryor, by design, by luck or just they are not fighters like those in this generation so until then we have to speculateComment

Lara's weakness is the inside and that's where Floyd doesn't fight!! May likes the outside or in the pocket and Lara has just as good foot work as Floyd! Plus Lara is very accurate and has a great one two...it would be a great chess match in the ring!! Lara will make Floyd thinkComment

Lara could never beat Molina I don't think. I think he would present some problems for Floyd, but he'd lose. He could probably beat Cotto, but I doubt he'd ever be given that chance. His best course of action is to retire Angulo, and then either secure a fight with Canelo or the Martirosyan-Andrade winner.Comment

yeap!!! no doubt Lara is a classy guy i hope he gets the chance to fight any of this guys, the fight that intrigues me the most is the one vs Trout same style and both are lefties. I favor Lara by a close UDComment

quit lying it made 850K!! was reported in most boxing forums and I don't see Scheafer denying that so until I see the official #s from Showtime, GBP or even the Nevada Commission ( like they're doing with Canelo vs May) I will still believed Dan Rafaels and Kevin Iole's claims.Comment

I haven't say Angulo is a better boxer, what I say is Lara is leagues above ginger and under the same circumstances angulo would had ko canelo that night, what I say is that ginger is an unproven fighter that had been handed everything, a paper belt at a catch weight that he didn't make against an unranked fighter from england, mathew hatton, he defended that belt against 100 years old mosley, gomez, lopez and trout, a fight that unless he got ko he will win no matter what, he hasn't prove $h1tLast edited by garfios; 09-22-2013, 10:39 PM.Comment
