yes garcia won if you give him the 11th. the big problem is he really didn't deserve the 11th except for that bad call that tony weeks made. that's the whole point. if i gave matthysse the 11th he would have won on my card and 2 of the judges. it was no beat-down according to you and your face theory. it was no schooling. it was a close fight that was essentially ruined by tony weeks. why not do it again with a competent ref? are you against competent refs? you think garcia is going to score another rabbit punch to tangle in the ropes knockdown to give him the win? yeah that's bound to happen again...

I have no problem with it because it happens a lot and is expected. The punch clearly wasn't intentional and similar situations have happened without fighters going down and Matthysse went down due to being punched.
Matthysse isn't a clean fighter either, he through ridiculous rabbit punches in the Peterson fight and his fair share in this one but you have no issue with that. You only have an issue because a fighter you like was on the receiving end.Comment

if we add up all the fouls committed by both fighters garcia will outdo matthysse by about 10 to 1. should we go and count all the low-blows, rabbit punches, and holding garcia did and compare them to the couple rabbit punches mathysse threw? lets just call it equal! yea! garcia got preferential treatment that led to him winning the fight. you just don't want to admit that. you want to pretend that he did it with just boxing skill which is not true. i like both fighters and don't care who wins when the best fight each other. only problem is with the reffing and the obvious misses he made.Last edited by daggum; 09-21-2013, 10:24 PM.Comment
