Why is there so much hatred of Garcia and Bradley ?

People hate bradley over the khan fight never happening and how he got the controversial decision with Pacman. Tim is willing to fight anyone and has an unbreakable will though. I think he is going to earn his respect from the haters in the long run. This Marquez fight is huge for him. He needs this one because a clear win there will elevate him the way Danny was elevated with the Matthysse win. I honestly don't think Garcia is as hated as he was before the Lucas fight. When he hesitated to sign the contract he was dogged left and right & that's understandable. But he definitely made a fan out of me with his performance against the Machine. I think people were just diehard Matthysse fans & were completely shocked and embarrased they were wrong. I know I was! All in all these are 2 tough as nails guys that always bring it and don't wilt. These are both real fighters with great mental fortitude. I'll wouldn't count either of these guys out against anyone because they have intangibles that are off the chart and a great all around game.

I think it's because they are both undefeated. Also, in the case with Timothy Bradley, I think that most of his haters; Which Many of whom are Manny Pacquiao fans are bitter and resentful of the fact hat he won a gift decision, that they believed he didn't deserve.

However, the very same can be said about Danny Garcia. Likewise, many boxing fans are resentful of Danny Garcia because they believe that he also won a gift decision against an aging and shopworn Erik Morales, in their first meeting in which he rarely engaged or hardly threw any punches against a naturally smaller opponent. Morales is revered and considered a legend on these boards.

Also, the backlash against Danny until very recently may have been his weak level of opposition. Outside of Amir Khan, Matthysse is his biggest win to date. However, many of his detractors claim that he achieved it by dubious means with excessive fouling like: Low blows, head butts and incessant clinching.

I'll attempt an answer. Imo, it's no more than an effective (if dishonest) debate tactic:

"Haters" is code for "racist", which in the current paradigm is only slightly less loathsome than "pedophile".

If somebody disagrees with your position, label them and walk away. You win. Or, you pose the question "why do you hate 'x'? " Anybody that tries to answer the question is branded and you walk away. Again, you win.

Seeing as how many posters care more about winning the argument than they do about boxing, you see this tactic often.

Bradley got some respect with his life and death match with Provodnikov ,his unfriendly headbutting style turned alot of people off. I think Garcia is not hated it's just he is an underdog in every fight for good reason. He's not great at anything, not the fastest, strongest, or sharpest but he keeps proving fans wrong by winning so I think after the Lucas fight people have a new found respect for him now.

There are a some of us who support any race of fighter. My favorite fighters are Floyd, Ward, Thurman, Swift and Golovkin. I like Kovalev too. On the other hand, I hate Stevenson, Rigondeaux, Haye and Berto. And Khan don't fuq no other people but his own..

I think that sort of thing goes a few different ways, first of all. Next , to respond to such ******ity only lends it credibility.

My personal solution is the ignore feature; when I find that somebody's redeeming features are outweighed by their bs, I use it.

Some people have enough smart things to say about boxing/boxers that I can put up with their ******ation on other subjects.

Some do not.
