    Can't forget about Devon and Zab fights because look how they played out, they were considered close 1 point fights now 2 years later Lucas claims he was cheated.

    Clearly I'm taking a shot at his fans but watch you'll see him on Showtime in 4 months and they will act like it was Mares-Abegko 1, this is the 3rd movie, predicting what Lucas will do is obvious.

      Devon= robbery, I had it closer than I had Martinez -Murray, hometown decision but no robbery.

      Garcia -right now his fans are saying low blows, the eye got shut from a headbutt and the KD was fake, I guarantee you in his next interview Lucas cry robbery, Lucas fans turn every fight he loses into a robbery and him and Showtime repeat it.
      Maybe, but Garcia fans turn every fight he wins into an epic, when they are mainly passable at best. That is not to say that he didn't win the Matthysse fight.

      But all bias aside, this fight left both sides with more questions than answers, the biggest of which (for me) is;

      "Why the lineal champion could not put away a half blind fighter with a skull fracture and 6 rounds to do it"

      As a fan of the sport, this was by far the most interesting I have found Garcia, but despite his size, speed and injury advantage(s), he still only won the fight by 19 punches.

      Not hating, but not convinced either.

        I don't know what was going on this board, but I do recall a lot of controversy surrounding Alexander-Matthysse at the time. It was my understanding most people had Matthysse winning. I did too. After all, he ended up throwing more, landing more, and hitting Alexander with the harder shots.

        This isn't to say there weren't some close rounds though.

            If you think the Ruslan fight was a gift decision you're just being ******. Ruslan was inactive and losing too many rounds to the point where Roach threatened to stop the fight.

            Exciting fight. Bradley got hurt, but the notion that it was a "gift decision" is a fabrication of facts.

            Also, Bradley and Garcia were both hated by many before the Pacquiao and Matthysse fights.

              The thing that people fail to realize about Danny is he's an overachiever, this isn't Golovkin or Wilder whose been blessed by God, this is a grimey everyman who has managed to beat Morales, Holt, Judah, Khan and Lucas, despite not being special, so yes his wins seem epic.

                    Is the bold right?? I actually would pose a question to counter that. It goes as follows:

                    "How the hell did the underdog close the eye and fracture the orbital bone of the favorite en route to a clear cut victory"?

                      I had Lucas winning by the KD, 1 point in a guys hometown is not a robbery, boxing is to subjective if 1 point is a robbery I can call nearly any fight a robbery.
