The thing is Floyd can finish his career out not breaking this record again. took him what 5 years to break this. Only way for them to break this is build up manny again. But Floyd doesn't need to do 2 million. he will generate over a million in his final 4 bouts and that will be impressive and good enough. ALL ROADS LEAD TO FLOYD MAYWEATHER. dude is boxing.

        2,000,000 x $75 = $150,000,000.

Floyd gets $80,000,000, the rest for promotors etc. His more of a business man than a fighter god dam

And how do you know that the Guerrero fight only did 780K?

Canelo will never hit that number again without Floyd and Floyd will never hit that number again without Canelo.

              UNLESS..........

Mayweather vs Pacquiao would still do 2mill IMHO
Floyds has hit it twice already. He definitely would hit it again he just needs another viable threat. With the right matchmaking Broner is a good candidate.

We'll see what Canelo's true drawing power is in his comeback fight against Molina. If he manages 500K in that, I'll say he's arrived. If it bombs, it will prove he was nothing but the perfect face and story to put on a fight poster with Floyd.

BTW, I'm very curious to see what GBP and Showtime's actual take-home was from this event. A lotta people busting on Floyd-Guerrero. But they forget, there was minial promotion for that fight. Floyd-Canelo had a 12-city tour. They shelled out a lotta money to sell this event. In reality, the profit may not be all that much different from Floyd-Guerrero taking into account the resources used to see the events.

What's funny that if floyd and manny were to fight, it would do over 2 million ppv buys

Alot of these newer fans just don't understand how hard it is to do 1 million buys let alone 2 fucking million. It's a staggering number. They've been spoiled by Mayweather & Pacquiao routinely doing a million+ buys, that people have either lost the context of what it means to garner 1 million buys. Or never had it to begin with.

But let me provide a little context.

De La Hoya couldn't even do 600,000 buys with Chavez Sr. And did just under 800,000 buys against Sweet Pea.

Tyson, a global and American sporting icon could never even do 2 million+ buys with Lennox & Holyfield.

Floyd has now done it twice.
Off topic but your boy wilder was much more hurt in sparring compared to the gif in your signature. Haye wasn't even rocked. wilder had Judah legs.
