Mayweather was More offensive , Leading the engagements, and standing in the pocket for majority of the fight. That's the difference.

Other than being both master classes of boxing there was not really much similar about them.

For one Rigondeaux is a southpaw and Floyd is orthodox both fought orthodox stance fighters but Donaire fights in a fairly funky manner while Canelo is very textbook. SO what both guys did was what they needed to do in those situations. The punches they used were different, how they used them were different the ways they moved were different, their defenses were different.

Floyd showed more versatility and has shown much more versatility throughout his career, not that Rigondeaux doesn't have some versatility in his approach but to me he is more set in his ways not that that I really a bad thing though because if it ain't broke don't fix it.

floyd was more on the offensive than rigo. the only time i remember rigo moving forward was the last round.

Mayweather actually boxed the first half of the fight.

Night and Day wasn't even close in how each fought, Donaire is certainly more accomplished however Floyd was more dominant and actually was offensive every round

Floyd is light years better than Rigo

Your contrast is too extreme. Light years better? Quit being ridiculous.

Floyd and Rigo are very similar. Both defensive minded, both about countering, both about winning the round.
There are subtle differences in their styles, sure. But let's not forget who was a more formidable opponent. Donaire > Canelo.
