Margarito was off a year after Mosley and then another year after Pacquiao. Unlike Cotto, he didn't run for the hills against Pacquaio - he went forward with a broken orbital bone and took several flush shots to the face.

Margarito was a walking one eyed zombie in the rematch. Cotto also fought a different fight to his credit. And lets not act like Cotto's face wasn't marked up after that fight.

So the California State Athletic Commission decided on a whim, let's frame Antonio Margarito, never mind the fact that he's a huge draw, all action, and is coming off the biggest win of his career. We'll just take his wraps and pay off ****m to catch him. This is why I'll never believe this is just a conspiracy. Makes no sense.

Why did Attorney General Karen Chapelle want to submit evidence that she said showed Margarito cheated against Miguel Cotto in their first match? The only reason it wasn't allowed was because this fight took place outside of California, therefore they didn't have jurisdiction.

Margarito had two separate year long lay-offs. He was a blind dead man going into that rematch. And no he didnt land as many clean punches. What the hell were you watching? Or did you even watch? Probably just slurped up whatever jizz HBO shot in your mouth

Margarito was a super tough fighter that got the most out of his abilities. I agree with Dougie that Margarito was clean except for the Mosley fight. The problem was Margarito partied for 5 months straight after beating Cotto and was terribly out of shape leading up to Mosley. He tried to take a short cut and got caught. I believe it was his only time he cheated but it will always be with him. I've always liked him and always will even though he erred greatly with that decision.
