147 is where he belongs, he didnt have much power at 154 and he was a bit slow. He should of done this along time ago, I dont know if roach is the right trainer for him tho. He is already a good offensive fighter, I think his problem was defense. If his defense was tight he would be unbeatable. If he had good defense even Margarito with the loaded gloves would not have beat him.

Cotto worked his ass off to make 154, why try to make 147? What Freddy meant was, Cotto was much better and a force at 25, years old that is. If Cotto can get to 147, he'll be an old, wore out shell. He'll leave his legs on the road and his fight in the gym. Freddy needs to quit instigating, and people need to give Cotto a break.
