Sure, let's talk about how well someone studied you, showed to be smarter and more of a champion that you were. I really thought Matthysee had arrived after his destruction of Peterson, but he looked this past Saturday Night no better than a Paulie Mags. Lucas took several steps back. I didn't really feel Garcia did a lot, didn't think his punching power looked to overwhelming, just really saw the fight as not so much what Garcia did, and what Matthysee didnt do... I see why Garcia was the underdog once again; he really is not that special, that dynamic. I say Garcia needs to line up Robert Guerrero.
This is the type of skippy ass props that these bandwagon fans deliver after seeing Danny beat Matthysse.
The late Manny Steward said that Danny doesn't do any one thing great, but that he does everything good, and that Danny just keeps on winning. Great words.
He looks to have been right and I certainly agree. I also just rewatched the first 6 rounds of the Matthysse-Garcia fight and I still had it 4-2 Matthysse. I guess I could see 3-3 though. Matthysse actually had a pretty good round 6 before his eye was closed in the next round. What rounds did you give Danny out of the first 6?
Pacquiao will make quick work of Rios, Provo will beat down Alvarado, Alexander will drop & stop Khan, Boner will stall as long as he can before Maidana knocks him out, and the Nevada Boxing Commission will meet at an undisclosed location, to determine who they want to "fix", holding the title, provided Bradley and Marquez finish their meeting vertical. That being said, Thurman should fight Victor Ortiz, if Ortiz really thinks he himself has any future in Boxing, and Danny Garcia should line up Robert Guerrero next, which would be very intriguing, and makes the most sense, now that Garcia announced he's moving to 147.

I didn't score the fight round by round. Early on I just had a feeling that the fight was even after 6 rounds, and that Danny won the majority of the rounds in the second half of the fight. Danny had an answer for everything Matthysse had to offer.

way to take all the credit away from Garcia. But yes Garcia is constantly underrated because he's not the fastest, strongest, hardest hitter. He just finds a way to win.
