This was faster than Haye-Fury, Froch-Kessler, Haye-Klitschko, Haye-Harrison and all the other big fights that's been on in Britain or involving British fighters over the last couple of years.

Guess that squashes the notion that there was no interest in this fight.
Where are all the clowns that said boxing is dead or dying?Mayweather/Canelo sold out arenas,Canelo/trout sold out arenas,Donaire/Rigondeaux sold out arenas,Zab/Garcia did well in ticket sells and so on and so on.

I guess the problem is not the big fights, but the smaller fights. I think it's a problem that someone like Andre Ward can barely sell 5k tickets, or that Broner fights in a half empty arena for a world title.

Big fights have always sold well, but not many people on the street no who these guys are. And that's the problem.

But British boxing is flying at the moment.
