      I disagree with Devon

Matthysse has power. It was just Danny's night. In a rematch, I bet Matthysse gets Danny. I like Danny though, but his chin is questionable. But I don't know what Devon was watching if he thought Danny didn't feel Matthysse's punches.

Matthysse's power isn't overrated. POWER is overrated on this site. A boxer gets a few KO's usually against lesser opponents and instantly they're the next big thing. 10 out of 10 times someone with better boxing skills eventually beat the guy with power. You would think people would catch on but no, they just wait until the next guy with power comes along. Shiny objects my friends... Shiny objects...

Garcia won a twelve round unanimous decision over mandatory challenger Lucas Matthysse (34-3, 32KOs).

Alexander, at 140-pounds, won a ten round split decision over Matthysse in 2011. That was Alexander's final match at junior welterweight. Alexander noted afterwards that he struggled to make weight for the bout with Matthysse.

Although he wasn't surprised that Garcia won, he was surprised at how well Garcia was able to deal with Matthysse. [Click Here To Read More]

I love how both Matthysse fans like myself and Garcia fans can find common ground in their dislike of Devon Alexander.

****ing ridiculous. This guy got dropped and lost, but because Garcia won he thinks that means something for him? Does Tim Bradley get credit for Marquez knocking Pacquiao out, too?
