    Canelo needs a new trainer

Watching on Saturday I was truly dissapointed in Canelos performance. I understand his lack of foot work was a major factor but I feel, the gameplan was all wrong. He tried to out box Floyd and never had an answer for the jab. I expected Floyd to win but it was truly easy work.

Maybe he should consider Nacho or Roach? I feel they could make Canelo into a GREAT champion. He is still young, and he IS talented. But Chepo and Eddie need to go. Anyone else agree?

i agree !!!!!!!! if canelo had a better trainer he wouldve done better !!! even though i had the fight close to a draw i think with roach in canelos corner he would have knocked out mayweather !!! just look at the facts !!! roach gave oscar the blueprint !!! and ever since then no fighter has come close enuff to beating floydie !!!!!!!

I dunno man, they all try to outbox Floyd when that clearly isn't gonna happen. Dude gave up on his jab and fought Floyd's fight. Cong**** to Floyd, the guy looked like a million bucks............I GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR A TREMENDOUS VICTORY. Still, he did use a catchweight which will forever lurk over his shoulder.

Nobody thinks a new trainer can help Canelo? I think if he pairs up with Nacho, the sky is the limit

He looked bad against Floyd, but Floyd makes a lot of boxers look bad. He is still young and he does have talent, nobody can say he doesn't. He fought Floyd's fight and lost

Just because he lost one fight to the best fighter on the planet doesnt mean he needs a new trainer, hes fine. He doesnt need to be like cotto playing musical chairs with trainers after every loss.

I agree Oscar did the same thing whoring himself to new trainers whenever he lost a fight.

I think Nacho would be good for him, but Nacho doesn't seem to be a big fan

roach is the last guy I would go to as a young growing fighter. He's too busy training everything to monitor my development
