Where were the adjustments? I'm still standing by my statement, Canelo is better off with Nacho, maybe Virgil? A world class trainer can't hurt Canelo. Cotto wasn't 23 when he switched trainers. Canelo is 23 and is still learning.

Nacho can offer him more than Chepo or Eddie

42 SUCCESSFUL fights and he should switch trainers after his first loss? no fighter should dump their trainer after one loss and that's not even counting the fact that he went up against TBE.

What adjustments did Nacho give Marquez vs Floyd who is his best fighter both Canelo and Marquez was shut out by Floyd.

Its not Canelos fault , its Floyds brilliance !

Put Canelo in with any other 147 154 fighter and he wins clearly .

The guy gets beat by the best and you think he should of done better , you should realize that Floyd is better than what you think .

Floyd made JMM look just as lost , and should how lost he is with anybody but Floyd .

When you change the way you look at things , the things you look at change , Floyd is an ATG that's why its looks so easy .

Whoever came up with this game plan of his that he fights Floyd in the center of the ring is an idiot.

I agree with whoever said it first...I feel a natural fight for him with be with Ignacio Nacho Berstein...Canelo has all the tools to be a great fighter. He is young and very experienced, he also has shown the hunger and attitude to want to get better as a fighter.

Canelo was never a pressure fighter, or a knock out artist so people who expect him to just blow guys away are unrealistic. He has good overall skills, good hand speed for a super welter, good power, counterpunching and I feel his stamina is a bit underrated. I think he is a fighter who would benefit moving up a weight class considering how much he gains and middleweight isnt quite as deep as 154 IMO.

Canelo needs to find his identity as a fighter. when you get to this level small things like having a nutritionist and the right trainer comes into play. Loyalty is great but IDT Ray Leonard, Ali, or other greats would have been the guys they were as pros with their amatuer coaches.

Canelo is a natural boxer-puncher...a trainer who can instruct him when to box, lead, or counter would suit him well like Nacho who had Gilberto Roman, both Marquez brothers, and Ricardo Lopez would make him reach his peak.

Juan managed to land on Floyd more than Canelo. 42 successful fights against not top opposition. Trout is the most notable name besides Mosley who was shot to hell. Like I said before A WORLD CLASS trainer can help Canelo more than Chepo. Did they really believe out boxing Floyd was the answer? Where was plan B C and D?

And regarding the Juan Floyd fight, Floyd fought the worst possible version of JMM. Drinking piss and throwing rocks off of mountains.

Marquez landed 11% of his punches while Floyd landed 57%; hell Floyd hadn't fought in almost 2 years and ut didn't matter. A more stocky Marquez wouldn't do any better.

I don't think Nacho or any other trainer could have helped Canelo.
