Not once have I said Lucas won last night. Not once, but it was a close back and forth fight.

where in my statement did u see that i said, you said lucas won? All im sayin is you make it all to obvious that ur upset ur boy lost. I said months ago it was 50 - 50 fight and that we didn't know if Lucas would walk through Danny's punches. Well Lucas did pretty good in the first half (dodging those left hooks), his chin passed the test but his face, i guess did not. The first half i had Lucas ahead on the scorecards until his eyes was shut. I have to say i hate all the hugging and low blowing this refferee allowed last night was really a shame. Good for Danny he took advantage of that. And i blame Matthysse for that too, he should be smarter and complain more that doesn't make you less tough. Lots of double standards about dirty tactics here.
Danny won and he is the fair champion of the 140, i would love to see a rematch.

He didn't school him but he won clearly. Danny is legit. He's in my Top 10 P4P now probably. beating Lucas was huge.

It was pretty close on a round by round basis, but I think Danny had more dominant rounds than Matthysse.

Danny Clearly won, like Matthysse clearly beat Alexander. Close but clear.

I actually agree with the basic idea of this thread. In fact, if you look at it, if Danny doesn't get that very dubious KD, Lucas actually wins the fight on the scorecards. And that's fighting half a fight with one eye.

QFT. Competitive fight. Danny far exceeded expectations. Still, it was a competitive fight and Lucas did well considering he fought half the fight with one eye.

It was a close, back and forth fight. Mathhysse got hit perfect on the eye to make it swell, and lost all of his steam. This is boxing, **** happens. And even then Matthysse came back, won the 10th, was winning the 11th, until that odd KD.

Good fight, deserves a rematch, Garcia won fair and square (besides the low blows).

Danny won clearly, i thought Matthysse would KO him, but i always called this fight a toss up, i knew Danny had the skills but i didnt kno if he had the chin

You can't expect to have a conversation with a group of people who say this was a schooling and Matthysse got his his ass kicked. They are out of touch with reality and are so shocked Garcia did as well as he did when he wasn't getting pounded on that it has clouded their memory of what actually happened. It was a very good fight, from both guys. Garcia is a much better boxer than anyone had thought. He just proved to be a real Puerto Rican fighter with all the fouling. Can't complain though, he did as much as he's allowed to get away with, its a fight. Lucas after the third low blow should have retaliated, but he didn't. I gave Lucas 1.2.3 5 6 10.12. Tough fight for both guys and look forward to the rematch.
BTW, the same guys giving Danny a pass for fouls, give Abner Mares nothing but disrespect for the Agbeko fight.
