Garcia really impressed me Saturday night.. I was saying Matthysse needed to watch out for that devastating left hook, but when he did start the fight avoiding it Danny adjusted. Haha, was predicting a KO but Danny proved a lot of people wrong.. Again. Hell of a fight, proud of the heart Marthysse showed.. Hope he comes back stronger.

I'm not really the type to rub it in...but I feel like Danny Garcia fans have the right to rub it in after what the Matthysse fans been saying before the fight for months. They said Danny was scared purely on the way he looked on camera after Lucas knocked Peterson out without even giving it a day for negotiation. They made all kinds of sigs, avatars and gifs. I'm not really satisfied with the Lucas fans disappearing like this.

most of them were trolls hating on danny imo. it always goes like that i guess, a bunch of fans/people talk shit going into the fight, but when the outcome is different from what they were predicting they can't be found for a while.

i had work last night, so i didn't get to watch the fight live, but when i got home and my uncle told me what happened, i was completely taken back. i def didn't think this fight would have gone the distance. tremendous props and respect to danny garcia, he's a true champ and the king at 140. a bit disappointed in matthysse (especially in the first half of the fight), but in the end he showed tons of heart and gave garcia a good fight for as much as he could last night. still a big fan of his and i'll continue to support him.

I was rooting and will continue to root for Danny "Swift" Garcia who happens to be Puerto Rican like myself, just that I wasn't impress with his performance against Matthysse he could of been more aggressive.

To those of you DAs gloating... yeah your guy won... but he nearly lost. If it wasn't for the eye swelling, your bwaaay would probably not have made it 12. You can say what you want, but THAT is the truth of the story. Yeah Garcia was tough, did well, close fight, but you need to pipe down with acting like it was a smooth victory. It was anything but.

I was nervous for danny at the start of the fight but he showed that he an all around good fighter. I wanna see the fight again. Anyone have a site to see it on pm it 2 me.
