Can we now get Floyd vs Lara please?

Most of you all talking up Canelo to be something he wasn't, you got what you wished for.

How about getting behind Lara? You know a guy who actually stands a chance of at least being competitive and not some flat-footed bag of mediocrity.

Won't happen though, instead we'll be force fed a poor mans version in Devon Alexander or some bum like Khan ''Oh but he fast doe''

Rangy, fleet-footed southpaw with a laser left hand, very good counterpuncher with bags of experience. Hes very good defensively - You don't have to go by 1 fight & compubox to see that unlike you do with someone else.

Get behind Lara! Hes the only fighter out there capable of even being competitive.

I don't get why nobody is screaming for this fight.

If Lara beat Canelo and Molina then maybe... other than that, it's name fighters till the end.
I think he'l fight either the Khan/Alexander winner or Garcia

Lara would have to beat someone noteworthy like Canelo and Cotto to get a hype train behind him

I'm not saying Lara beats him but he has a better shot than anybody from 140-154.

It's crazy. Fans want to see Floyd lose, but hype up tailor made fighters to get in the ring with him.

Lara has the best shot to beat Floyd but the fight won't happen cause Lara is not a big name and I don't think Floyd wants to fight at 154 anymore. He'll stay at 147 for the rest of his career.

Come on man it would be boring as hell. Just not PPV material. Lara would be a tough fight for floyd due to lara being a southpaw but he would play right into floyd's counter punching game and get shut out.

I still would love to see Pac-Mayweather. If pac looks good against rios why not. None of these young bucks have the experience to be in the same ring as floyd anyway. And it would still be huge for the sport.

He hasn't earned a shot at Floyd. his biggest win was vs angulo great fight but I did not see anything that screams "he can beat Floyd or give Floyd a good fight" His other big chances he either lost or had a draw. So its his fault hes not in the running not only for Floyd but any of the other champions. not taking away from his skills which he does have. But it takes more than skills to land big fights. where is his body of work at? what has he done?

I've also always been of the opinion that Lara is the only guy who could give Floyd a good fight between 140-154. Canelo fighting for the supposed lineal title was a joke when the real #1 contender was either Lara or Molina. Although I thought Molina edge Lara, stylewise I still think Lara stands a much better chance against Mayweather.

Lara is small. He only enters the ring at 160lb. He should try to make a run at 147 and dominate there in order to enter the Mayweather sweepstakes. No way in hell Floyd fights at 154 again.
