Danny Garcia beat Khan in an amazing fashion. Khan has destroyed Paulie, schooled Maidana, and stopped Judah. Garcia stopped Morales who Maidana couldn't even drop and Morales won the WBC title from Cano who has proven to be a world class contender. Garcia has fought solid opposition. Who has Matthysse beat? Soto was a blown up featherweight moving to JWW and Peterson was a solid win but he's been dropped by Bradley. Garcia's win over Morales>>>>Matthysse's win over a blown up Soto. Garcia's win over Khan>>>Matthysse's win over Peterson. Garcia's performance against Judah>>>>Matthysse's performance against Judah. The ring magazine shouldn't crown fighters with the ring belt if they don't intend to respect the CHAMP.

Funny thing is, Garcia is possibly the one being more wrongly hyped, being that his arrival at "the top of 140" meant beating Khan and then beating two old men - one of whom was a completely shot fighter in Morales who had no business at 140 fighting for titles anyway, and the other was a spirited but past-his-prime Judah who rallied at the end and came close to stopping the kid.

Matthysse hasn't had the chance to fight all the names he'd like to, but his last fights IMO are much more meaningful other than Dallas, but especially Peterson and Soto (better than Judah/Morales wins at this stage).

Danny is more than likely in for an ass-whipping, and his camp's apparent bitterness and attitude will probably not come in handy in the ring against a dude with cold blood and bricks in his gloves.

NO, Garcia's win over Morales does NOT > Lucas over Soto. Khan was a solid win for Danny, but getting a KO over a glass-chinned fighter in four rounds doesn't look as good as a KO over a guy who had never been stopped in 3 rounds (and who had a competitive fight against Khan himself). You also need to realize Judah is older, and while he was dominated early, he was able to do something he typically doesn't do which is rally late and hurt Danny consistently.

If Danny is to win he'll have to be greater than he's shown us thus far. Period.

You're going to see tomorrow how having a good amateur pedigree and fighting boxers from the U.S through out your career will pay dividends at the end. When you turn pro in the U.S and fight your whole career here it gives you an advantage. Target practice for Garcia.

Danny was stunned in one of the late rounds you're acting like it was constant or as if the fight was almost stopped.

Man you're ****** as hell. If you can't see GGG's skill it's you who doesn't know **** about boxing. Name me a world champ who is willing to get into the ring with him. No one is calling him out except Stevens. Maybe that's why. Murray didn't seem too eager, did he? He lost to Martinez but we both know Martinez ain't fighting GGG any time soon.
