Matthysse is definitely NOT more fan friendly. Danny shows love for his fans and Matthysse does his best to avoid them because he's a loner and he even said he doesn't want people coming up to him on the street. His behaviour suggests to me that he has avoidant personality disorder.

Danny makes music for the fans, does a lot for charity, visits sick children in hospital and his dad's rants adds to the fight hype. He's a real down to earth, easy-going guy who actually cares about his fans.

You know, it isn't rocket science figuring out who is more fan-friendly: who do the fans like more? End of story, it's Lucas Matthysse.

PS: Danny is more than likely a good kid, and if he didn't have an ******* for a father alienating 99% of his potential fanbase, he could probably be a real star. But as long as Angel shows up to events with tens of thousands of Latinos basically telling them to **** off, Danny is not going to be a true mainstream star.

Matthysse is a contender on paper, and it's not fair that the Ring Magazine is published in the U.S and they can't support an American Champ, but they give more publicity to his mandatory.

I bet you are one of those that thought floyd was a hype job earlier on his career too!, Danny Garcia is not a hype job, if he looses to Lucas he just lost to a stronger fighter but in my opinion a lot of people are not giving him a chance and are focusing on Lucas power, Remember Tyson vs Douglas,everyone (including me)tought it would be over before it started and it was but not with the expected winner, tyson and the rest of the world counted buster out except buster believed in himself. Angel Garcia is very outspoken and very proud of his son and its so troubling to see all this all this hate comments about it. I guess people are supposed to doubt themselves and say that they are going to loose? the best to both fighters and may we see a great fight and hope that none of those bad things that all haters are saying happen to any of their loved ones since they are hoping it happens to this guy who is doing the best he knows how to do which is Win
