I think it might resemble Hopkins Pavlik, Canelo's slow foot speed and movement could really be his downfall plus his hand speed will probably look a lot slower than usual against Mayweather's reflexes and foot speed. However what Canelo has that Pavlik lacked is his ability to throw his punches 'under' and he is very good at punching to the body. Canelo would be wise to just aim for the body for the first half of the fight.

His legs looked fine vs Guerrero

He's going to be extra sharp in this fight.

He actually moved like a lw against Ghost. But the difference is he was slow against Ghost. Now he will move the same way he did against Ghost, but he will shoot in and out in an aggressive way to destroy Canelo with angles. I already know whats been going on in sparring, thats why I made the comment. To heads everyone up. Floyd has gotten faster, and has improved his arsenal. No more lonely right hands. He has ever punch in the book now.

He seemed slower because Guererro has better footspeed than Canelo in my humble opinion.

I dont compare Mayweather's speed to anything his opponents are doing. Floyd sometimes comes back, and has small things off about his fighting. He was slower because he is always slow against Southpaws. He was actually the slower man when he fought Judah. And Judah is very slow, yet fast enough for us to use the term "fast" when describing him. When he fought Ortiz he was very slow. When he fought Ghost, it was the same thing. Against SP's, he relies allot on his right hand, and he sits it up like a cannon, and lunches it out. All the fights against ortho fighters in between, Floyd is lightning fast. I dont even know how you compare the Mayweather who fought Ghost, to the Mayweather who fought Canelo, when they havenet even fought yet. You will see. Tonight it will look like the Floyd who fought JMM as far as upper body speed. His feet will be bannanas!!!

Will Mayweather put on a Boxing 101 Clinic in the fight vs Canelo as Hopkins displayed against Pavlik?
I thought I was the only thinking that as soon as the figbt was announced. Canelo's resume (and you are so right) is no where near as impressive as Pavlik. At least Kelly beat a long list of known fighters his size on fight night. Plus Kelly was legit and his resume reflected that as well. The only thing this hyped up kid has is a fixed fight with Trout, in a arena where the tickets were cheaper then a kids Happy Meal. Hell I could sellout the Alamodome if my most expensive ticket cost $9.99 for a group of 12. GB gave away over 10 thousand tickets to the Mexican Americans who couldn't afford the $9.99 and even rented buses to get them to the arena. Then that open scoring was so fixed I knew before they even gave the score Trout hadn't won a round. He was already down 12 rds before he got up the day of the fight... But come Saturday we'll see a B Hop type butt whooping andb this you can count on.....

Guerrero is B minus at best and only had 2 fights against 2 bums at 147 and his legs weren't as good as you think it was only when he was darting away from punches in the 12th. He doesn't have that same fluidity anymore

No, the styles are not even close. Pavlik was a come forward, flat footed fighter. He makes Canelo look light footed lol
