so let me ask this, if a fighter doesn't have a promoter, who picks his opponents for him? If he's his own boss, doesn't he pick his own opponents? So wouldn't every fighter be a hand picked fighter? He chose to fight alvarez, so isn't canelo a hand-picked fighter?

Floyd is a walking contradiction first he says he doesn't get enough credit for his win, then he says he hand picks his opponents.

Regardless of whether he was being sarcastic fact is that there was a true element to what he said. No way can this guy be regarded as GOAT or even the greatest of his era, that goes to Pacman. And if Canelo beats him it pretty much takes away the one special thing of his résumé, being undefeated.

Anybody who actually seen the Interview will realize that Floyd said IF his opponents were hand picked then good cause he didn`t actually have go through any tough fights.

Floyd didn`t actually say he hand picked fights nor did he say part of the reason he`s undefeated cause he handpicked fights.The article writer misinterpreted Floyd.Anybody whose unbias knows that Floyd does not cherry pick fights and that the real cherry picker has always been Pacquiao.
