      That goes to Pacman?lol

You mean the roid user who ducked:Zahir Raheem,Nate Campbell,Yuri foreman,Mayweather in the first negotiations,Mosley when he still had something left,Canelo,Mark too sharp Johnson,Juan Guzman and many others.

Lol. He said "put him on the undercards, build him up to something he's not and everybody buys into it."

2 million ppv buys just like that. If people buy this ppv after that quote you have no right to complain about his opponent selection ever.

being 37 yrs old you could only imagine most boxers would look to maximize profit while maintaining good health.

There's more than Floyd on the card though, the hardcore boxing fans are more interested in Matthysse v Garcia, the Mexicans in supporting Canelo. When it was just Floyd, they did 870k.

What is the confusion here? He's clearly saying that if his team is handpicking and he's still making money, he's happy about it. Sure sounds to me like he meant it. Considering how he has said before about how he doesn't want to end up like Ali, this fits right in line.

The whole rant about not caring about the fans and media was just as funny considering he was complaining what, a week or two ago about not getting credit from the fans and media?

Found this on yahoo. Doesn't sound like sarcasm to me.

"I come to think about it and I was in this training camp and I said, 'You know what? If they said Mayweather has hand-picked his opponents, I said, You know what? My team did a [expletive] good job!'

" Mayweather said. "They're supposed to hand-pick my opponents. Everything is supposed to go easy for me. Life is supposed to be easy. Who wants to go through life in a hard way, a tough way?"If they hand-picked all my opponents -- they say all Mayweather opponents are hand-picked -- If I'm able to hand-pick opponents and make $60 and $70 and $80 million, $100 million dollars, keep doing it. Keep doing it. [Expletive]. Make it easy on me so I can retire healthy and feeling good."Earlier in the conversation, Mayweather was talking about not being able to get matches with De La Hoya and Miguel Cotto while all of them were promoted by Top Rank.He said that he didn't understand the business in those days, and didn't realize that Top Rank was intentionally keeping those fighters from him."Now that I'm older and wiser, I understand business," Mayweather said. "It's like this: With Top Rank at that time, Oscar De La Hoya was their cash cow. They weren't going to risk me fighting him and him taking an 'L.' Top Rank didn't believe in me. [Top Rank's Bob Arum] said I was one of the best fighters he had ever seen, but he didn't believe in me..."And [Arum] didn't let me fight Cotto, because he said, 'I know Floyd is going to beat Cotto, and you're not going to beat Cotto and then leave.' Because he knew he had to build Cotto to become his cash cow. Once he got Pacquiao, he knew Pacquiao was his cash cow and he didn't mind feeding Cotto to Pacquiao at a catch weight."Mayweather's comments unsurprising drew a response from Pacquiao's camp on Tuesday when*Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach told AFP: "Floyd's statement speaks for itself. Now we know why he won't give the fans the fight they want most.

Good stuff. Haymon is a great manager, but makes great fights at the same time.
