But your other comment about Floyd's being a hypocrite with his comments about no catchweight for Cotto -- that cannot be denied.

But Canelo complaining now about the weight and who suggested it and blah blah -- it's just crying over spilled milk. He just has to accept his fate and move on.
From the fans perspective, its not about the weight at all. Its just throwing mud back in Floyds fans faces for crying about Mannys destruction of Cotto, "He was drained, Manny made him come so far down in weight it affected the fight".

But now, "catchweights are fine as long as he agreed".

Canelo was setting the record straight which he should do. Ellerbe is so full of crap if a firecracker goes off in the next Zip code, his head with burst with sht flying everywhere.

using floyd's logic, this fight really don't count. canelo will still be undefeated win or lose.

I honestly don't care, the kid can't speak or understand English so he don't know what was being said until a GB paid translator was called in. Hell he don't know what went down other then what Oscar pulled out the vault and feed him. Cats crying over 2lbs seems childish, but him sayjng he didn't want to give up his weight advantage carries true for all his fights. He's another Pac, as long as there's a weight advantage these dude's are on board. But if they can't get that, then they don't want to fight. Instead of talking about who said what, the boy needs to lose that 5.7lbs before there is no fight........

But as hard as it is to believe, Ellerbe pales in comparison to Shafer who said the negotiations did not include Canelo or his manager or anyone from his camp which is not even possible. Negotiating a fight without the fighter or his management? He was caught in a question by the interviewer and lied right out of that one and he probably realized later that he made a fool of himself. That topped Ellerbe's comments.

LOL at the die hard floyd fans, why cant yall just be legit for once and take your female "my man cant do no wrong" act off and admit Floyd is a hypocrypte who try to drain Canelo out of every pound cause he was forced into this fight by Showtime.

Had he not signed that fight deal contract, he would have been able to duck Canelo with his petty demands like how he ducked Pacquaio, But since he signed that fight deal contract with showtime, showtime has the final say on who floyd fights and they forced him to fight canelo.

It is about the catchweight. The minute Canelo loses, or let's say gets KO'd, those same fans will attribute that to Canelo being drained. That's why it would've been better if there was no catchweight. It gives the masses of haters a loaded ******* to use for excuses as for why Canelo loses or gets stopped.

But again, my point is, Canelo should've just remained silent. It's pointless talking about a disadvantage you accepted.

You meant to include Floyd in that statement. We all know that Canelo did not demand the fight take place at 152. That goes without saying.
