Wider than Katsidis, last time I checked Marquez went life and death with him. Bradley is 100 times smarter than Katsidis, hell Bradley's a smarter boxer than Pacquiao.

Yeah he's so smart that he tried to slug it out with Provodnikov and almost ended up a vegetable.

If you've barely seen anything from Timmy, how can you ask this question? That's like watching Michael Jordan's high school highlights and wondering how in the world he's considered the GOAT.

Yes Marquez has had good results against Pac in the last couple fights (had him beating Pac in the 3rd fight). The 4th fight ws just freaky but I won't go into that, he won't KO Bradley so it's almost irrelevant.

The reason I'm picking Bradley is that for all his guts and glory against Prov, he is actually a well schooled boxer. He knows how to close or increase distance, he has a good jab, he can throw combinations and he can work on the inside or the outside. Marquez has, in the past, suffered against boxers, heck just look at how he did against an almost shot Barrera.

Bradley is a step above a lot of the fighters Marquez has fought, he isn't popular and doesn't get huge accolades but don't take him lightly. Yes JMM is a great counter puncher but he is starting to fade, he doesn't react as quickly as he used to and Bradley will take advantage of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if JMM won but I'm betting on Bradley...if there's a KO then again there will be big questions surrounding Marquez lol
the reason I am picking marquez is bc tim willingness to trade. He does it in all of his fights. He has that same warrior spirit that marquez has but that will be his downfall againts a sharp counter puncher

the key to fighting jmm is to take away his counterpunching...let him take the lead. bradley have the patience to do that. he has to use his legs, take a in and out approach and use the jab...double it or even triple.

To answer the question though, it's because, in reality, this is a 50-50 fight based on styles. Tim has good hand speed, good lateral movement, and good defense (when he wants to lol). Marquez is a great counter puncher and a great combination puncher.

Both fighters like to immediately retaliate when they are hit with punches, which is why I'm picking Marquez to win the fight. Marquez will counter Bradley from time to time, and Bradley will immediately swing back. I think this will be the downfall for Bradley, because the bout will turn into a brawl in spurts, playing into Marquez' favor.

He fought ****** 1 time, oh noooooooo.

Marquez did the same against Kats and he smartened up, you act like that's Timmy's style, he won't have to worry about Marquez pressuring him. This fight will be a walk in the park compared to the Prov fight.

Marquez should look 40 without that scientific help that won't pass a blood test.

Just cause Kellerman said Marquez went life and death with Katsidis doesn't make it so. Its one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard him say just behind Linares being the best fighter he's ever seen.

Marquez controlled the whole fight from start to finish. Even in the third round, the only round Katsidis won, Marquez landed more punches. Katsidis landed one good shot and ate about 900. Yeah thats going life and death. JMM landed every punch in the book agaisnt Katsidis and Michael was never the same since that fight.

People say the same thing about the first fight with Diaz. Marquez took Diaz to school too. It took him a few rounds to adjust to the pressure Diaz was putting oh him, but thats how Marquez fights. He usually starts slow and make the adjustments needed. Diaz was never the same after that fight either. And 3 years later Marquez is coming off another great win in his career against another younger stronger fighter. Sound familiar?

This fight will show it up. I'll bet you everything you have. You give me all if Bradley wins, and I'll give you double if Marquez wins.

I want Marquez to win more than any other fight I can think of, but I'm not deluded to the reality of the situation. His timing and counter punches will be negated by Bradley's youth, footwork, game plan, speed, defense and combinations. He doesn't have the power, despite the ******s suddenly thinking he developed one shot power overnight to KO Bradley, especially because Bradley isn't going to walk into shots trying to madly stop Marquez. Marquez has excellent power, always has, from the beginning of his career when he was known as a pure power puncher, but not enough at 40 with his speed and reflexes (lack thereof) to stop Bradley.

Although he still has okay timing, it was greatly diminished and he was struggling to get off with most shots vs Pac, who was countering Marquez as much, usually more than he was being countered. His reflexes and speed are all but gone.

You'll see. You've fallen for the Pac KO and the Bradley war. Marquez isn't a huge, prime, power punching welterweight like Provodnikov, Bradley won't be trying to go in for a war and he will be in much, much better condition.

Anyway, are you really that confident or are you bull****ting yourself? Put it all up.
I well take that bet Benny if no one else well. I usually agree with most things you post but I think Marquez still has more then enough left to beat someone like Bradley. Most likely we are going to see a lighter Marquez as he won't need to sit on his punches the way he did against Manny. Everything is against him yet again, but his skills and craft should be more then enough to beat someone like Bradley
