You're seriously asking why a prime, natural 140/147 pound champion with good speed, craft, defense, stamina and heart is being picked over a near shot 40 year old natural featherweight that is clearly on a very quick decline and is as ripe as he'll ever be for the picking?

You might have known what Marquez could do, but if you really think you're going to see another turn-back-the-clock performance from Marquez, desperate for his definitive last shot at his career rival, then you've clearly not seen enough.

Apart from going for, and landing, the Hail Marys with Pac, he really did not look good at all. He's old, slow, small, easy to hit and was struggling to pull the trigger at times and clearly a step behind.

I'm surprised people are picking Marquez at all. I think it's not just obvious that he's going to lose, but a certainty. The only thing that's not is whether he will get stopped for the first time ever or not, and whether he will retire afterward. Both of which I think will happen. He's declined too far, and won't be able to get again up like he could for Pac one last time.

I'm just not seeing why people are picking him over a guy like Marquez? Am I missing something here?

This is a completely serious thread and I may be ignorant to how amazing Bradley is but I am completely unaware of where he has shown how amazing he is whilst I know what Marquez can do.
Bradley's style will be tough for JMM and , more to the point, I think Bradley is a better bxer tha JMM right now. I like tim over JMM as much as I liked Trout over Cotto.

People pick Marquez because they saw the Pacquiao KO and think he has one punch KO power now. Truthfully, that shot was more the result of perfect placement and timing. Then they saw Timmy get rocked around the ring by an FNF fighter and think the combination of the 2 will lead to a stoppage win for Dinamita. I'm not ruling out a KO for Marquez, but that is his only chance of winning.

JMM is way past it, he will likely be overwhelmed like he was in the 1st Diaz fight at times. He managed to reach in his locker and pull out a win then, but he's declined a lot since then and the locker might be empty.

JMM is past his prime but saying he's near shot is ******. Bradley barely got past a one dimensional Provo and got his ass kicked by Manny as well. Marquez is slower and older, but he still has great timing and technique.

And fyi the first right hand that knocke Pacquiao down was a over hand right, you could consider a hail mary punch, but the right hand the right hand that put Manny to sleep was a straight right hand that Pacquiao lunged right into squared up with his chin up in the air.

Bradley has looked like **** in his last two fights and isn't a puncher. If Marquez has anything left in the tank he takes this fight. Thats the question, who much does he have left, he could get old over night, but I think Marquez's skills and experience will prevail in this fight.

                    Youth, conditioning ,adaption ,toughness,skill,heart
                    Speed, and will power.

Imo jmm is a great fighter, and is likely juicing now with memo.
But still, bradley has the ability to outbox and frustrate juan. Bradley should box and counter. And let juan lead

If Baby Bull gave JMM all hell, expect JMM to get the ass whipping of his life, that style gives JMM issues, people seem to believe JMM is elite because he has Manny's number.................
