Are you ******ed? Pacquaio is a natural JWW just like Floyd..

Cotto is a natural 154 fighter... as is Cotto..

    He fought Cotto at 145lbs

and he beat Margarito, a guy who had lost to shane mosley, and lost pretty much everything since he got exposed cheating, which I'd say he done most of his whole career.

Mayweather fought De la hoya at 154

    and Miguel Cotto at 154

    Sigh...

      Floyd is moving up +5lbs

Canelo is moving down -1lb of what he normally weighs in at.

I guess it really is hard for some people to see this....

Manny moved up several divisions to fight Oscar. Then went DOWN to 140 to fight Hatton then up to 145, 150 for Cotto and Margarito. Manny didn't have a title at that weight when he fought those people. Also, Manny weighed in lower than the 147 limit on several of those fights.

DIFFERENCE: Floyd fought TWICE already and has the title at 154. Secondly, go check how many fighters Floyd fought that had 0, 1 or 2 fights at 147 and let me know if Floyd went DOWN for them? Also, Floyd criticized Manny for doing a CW against his first true WW. No problem there but then he turns around and does it! Just crazy considering he is fighting for the 3rd time at 154!

Finally, Floyd said weight makes no difference .... it's skills and that Floyd always spars with heavier fighters and it should be no problem.

Come fight night, fighters can weigh how ever they want, if Floyd has a problem, then he can leave the 154l lb belt alone, it's that simple.

both are champs at 154, their should not be a catchweight.

avoid this if you want, doesn't change the fact.
As much as a biased poster you may be, you are absolutely right with this here. I totally agree and Floyd opened the door for this criticism.

STFU fool...Floyd doesn't do catchweight, he only fight them at their best weight where they're not drained and is hydrated.

If you look at the difference in weight Margarito for example at 150 and he's 154 fighter...

Cotto at 145 -9lbs from his strongest weight.

              Hatton was already shot...

I'll not waste my time in telling you how many fights Floyd went 'down' for... but I'll tell you how many fights he's generally been outweighed +10 lbs in the ring...

I think he means you use your common sense, if weight made no difference he'd fight Vitali then...

he's fought at 154lb twice, and performed far far from his best, so perhaps he's realised he's not great at that weight class? is that a crime?

Oscar is a natural 154 fighter.. he weighed in at 145lbs for the pacquiao fight..

CANELO IS COMING DOWN JUST OVER 1LB FROM WHAT HE NORMALLY WEIGHS.

              stop this nonsense.

Also.. Oscar's fought a middleweight... 160lbs.. so based on what you say with floyd...

De La Hoya lost 15lbs to fight pacquiao?

Floyd trains 6 or 7 days a week to maintain in the 147 pound range. You think it's gonna be harder for him to get to 152 or for Canelo? You think it's easier to lose or gain weight? Hint.....70% of American's are overweight so there you have it.

It's obviously harder to gain 5lbs on muscle... than to lose 1lbs of muscle...

did you REALLY ask that question?

I know you're a moron ("Duran is a slower footed version of Baldomir") but Cotto is not a natural 154, he's a midget there. Witness him asking for a 150 CW with 160 rehydration clause to defend his 154 title vs a much worse version of Marg, with one eye. He's a rich and lazy welter. Of course he was still a welter when he fought Pac. In fact Canelo is more natural at 160 than Cotto at 154
