I'll give you the Duran fail, I meant Baldomir.

It would make more sense for Cotto to fight at his best weight... no? do explain...

De La hoya was at 154lbs with him choosing the gloves... he fought pacquiao at 145 a year or so later.

Canelo is 23.. he's finished growing a long time ago, and he has terrible stamina issues because he's built like a middleweight...

      Next question.
Again, are you serious or you just don't get it?

Margarito had issues with his eye after losing to Manny at 150 not 147. There was a concern that Margarito would not get OKed to Cotto because of that eye but money talks. Either way, not the same Margarito.

Cotto: Has yet to prove that he can beat the top fighters at 154. Maybe he doesn't want to put the extra work to go down to 147 or maybe he just can't like Gatti when Gatti moved up to 147. Unfortunatley for Cotto and Gatti, there is no in between weight so they struggled once they fought tougher competition at the higher divisions.

Oscar: Oscar fought very flat-footed by then and as his trainer said in the Floyd fight, "Oscar couldn't pull the trigger no more". Once Oscar lost to Manny as well, Oscar agreed with his former trainer and retired. Again, go check out Oscar's record. He lost more and more while fighting less often.

Canelo: I'm not talking about height. It's like saying Cotto finished growing by the time he was at 140lbs so he didn't need to go to 147 nor 154 ..... You should have said that Canelo is build like a middleweight yet Floyd wanted that middleweight to go down to 152.

At 154, it's Canelo's fault, at 152, it becomes a discussion about Floyd being a hypocrite and more.

but in your second fight you suddenly develop knockout type power.

Styles make fights.. but we were talking about the weight...

Marquez moved up to 147lbs for Manny... Manny wouldnt move down..
It's years later and Marquez had more time to make the adjustments including having previous experience to judge better. This never happened to you where you learned from your first or second time doing something and improved? Sometimes you can sometimes you can't.

Unlike Floyd, Manny, the 147 title holder, moved down to 144 (weighed 143) for his 3rd fight with Marquez. When they saw that Marquez "looked" as big if not bigger than Manny then of course they fought at the full 147 for fight #4.

Body frame is a build.. if you don't know that, you should.

There's no evidence Floyd wanted anyone to go anywhere.. it's assumption.

Yeah, and David Haye lost to Vlad because he broke his toe... the eye played no part, Margarito was a proven cheater and got schooled.

Canelo weighs in at 153 for fights.. hes weighing in at 152 this fight...

De la hoya was fighting at 154 and weighing 160+ on fight night...

He weighed in at 145 for Pacquiao and weighed in at 147 on fight night.

The statement that Canelo will outweigh Mayweather by about 25 pounds is totally ridiculous and untrue. They weighed Floyd and Canelo a few days ago and Floyd was about 152.5 and Canelo was 157.2 so there was less than 5 pounds difference between the two fighters.Floyd will probably enter the ring weighing about 154 pounds and Canelo will probably enter the ring weighing about 165 pounds. For Canelo to outweigh Floyd by 25 pounds he would have to enter the ring weighing about 179 pounds. Canelo has to weigh in at 152 pounds. He is not so ****** that he would gain 27 pounds in 32 hours. I don't think it is possible for him to gain that much weight in 32 hours even if he wanted to gain that much weight. How about some common sense?

Floyd will enter the ring around 153lbs and Canelo weighed 174lbs in his last night.. so 21lbs. he could weigh more for this one.

Floyd agreed to come in at 144 limit but then he just came in at the weight he wanted to.
