he'll fight fighters who aren't natural SMW's at 154.. Canelo is a natural SMW. who's going to outweigh him by about 25lbs on fight night.

Cotto is older than Canelo and older in boxing terms than Floyd considering the beatings he'd taken.

He hasn't fought at that weight, because he drains himself to make 154 and then reinflates...

Those crying about the catchweight because Floyd's a f u c k i n g hypocrite, they have a right. Although those same people never had a problem with their favorite fighters fighting at catchweights. Be that as it may, Floyd's the one who said he only fight's guys at their best and he chose to not fight Canelo at 154.

Those crying about the catchweight because they think the 2 pounds are going to be a major problem are just Floyd haters and liars. The only reason they're crying over this catchweight is because they thought Floyd wouldn't take the fight. When Floyd took the fight, they had to swallow their pride and face reality that they yet again begged Floyd to take on an outclassed opponent, but when they found out about the catchweight, they had an escape plan. They no longer had to wallow in shame, they simply just pulled the weight card so they can uphold their opinion that Floyd takes easy fights. They know the 2 pounds won't make much of a difference for a 23 year old kid, but they pretend it will so they won't have to own up to the fact that they have to watch Floyd beat another guy they thought he would lose to.

Canelo weighed 153lbs, and showed his worst stamina to date, looks like he overttrained to me. no he has to go down to 152. Luckily he's young enough to do it.

Come fight night, fighters can weigh how ever they want, if Floyd has a problem, then he can leave the 154l lb belt alone, it's that simple.

both are champs at 154, their should not be a catchweight.
