WHy is it so hard for posters to believe Al Haymon, who is a Harvard undergrad and MBA who made a killing in the concert promotion business and floyd mayweather, who once was employed by Bob and did a stint with WWE, could put ogether a business plan to make millions?

Read the ny times article on his deal.

Have you followed Floyds career from the begining?

Floyd is Floyd baby, Floyd is Floyd.

Dude went from getting maybe 2,500 fans at best in small a small casino ballroom to possibly getting 25,000 fans to pay more at closed citcuit than they would for HD in their own living rooms. That didn't just happen without smart planning.

            No it was not

The best business plan would have involved Floyd making 10-20m on top of his boxing earnings in institute like Dell top stars (including Pac) earn

With Floyd being a woman and child beater, as well as being exposed as a racist had cost him millions

he's talking about the business plan to inrease his earnings and make his name bigger. the ustream rant, the tax problems, the dv with josie, etc. these things of course were not part of any plan. he did some ****** stuff, ****ed up and paid the price.

He was able to put those things behind him and continue to build himself.

how can you talk about business and call yourself "money" when you ducked the biggest money fight of this century? canelo have yet to make his first ppv fight after this floyd fight. al haymon tried to negotiate with arum, hbo tried, nelson mandela tried, singaporeans tried, joe jackson tried, 50 cent tried, floyd didn't cooperate...

stop talking about business, doe. just admit health and self preservation are more important. can't blame you for that.

In Michagan he could have sold out the big arena, he did it once. But Arum likes that west coast money and he couldn't go mainstream without Delahoya. He already was very outspoken and **** talker before he left Arum, but it was just suttle. Like i have said, Floyd worried people will forget about him when he retires. Gbp is the banner he fights under, and no wonder now he is trying to clean up his image, didn't Delahoya have a clean cut image when he fought?
